Hope this isnt a hard question but...

In Final Fantasy III/RPG it has the world map in gray, showing that it had map revealed there for a second but revealers were removed...i think

I want to do this with my RPG...

here the trigger i put(i put a big location of the "World Map" area)

I also tried it this way

[TRIGGER]
Trigger
Description:
Unreveal Map
Players:
¤ Force 1
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Remove all map revealers for player 1 at "World Map"
Description:
Unreveal Map
Players:
¤ Force 1
Conditions:
¤ Force 1 brings atleast 1 any unit to "Start Game"
Actions:
¤ Remove all map revealers for player 1 at "World Map"

Sorry if this is a dumb question but i need the answer :/

I remember that you can't remove neither Kill a map revealer. But you can use the feature "Toggle fog" in your editor, just look and you could make it like a fog.

place map revealers in map editor than make a location over the map revealers u want to remove and make a trigger that removes all map revealers at location.

if what sessasse said is true than do that.

Your post is not a n00b question, especially because it didn't even state the question. happy.gif

Both triggers you posted will work fine.

There is also a different method, one that doesn't involve map revealers. Just go into the "Fog of War" layer in Staredit, SCXE, or SCMDraft, and uncover the map. It is best to use SCMDraft, as it features custom brush sizes for Fog of War, rather than the 3·3 square in Staredit.

Not topic. Post. You are the one who posted a topic. Get your terms straight. happy.gif

What is your question? I've hinted at it in Post #4, but you didn't get my drift.
You have to help us by providing adequate info if you want us to help you.

-.- isn't the question obvious? he wasnt to make the map grey but dosnt know how.

like UED77 said in post #4 use the fog of war layer thingy. Then just start clicking around. Everything you see normaly will apear all foggy in the game just like it would if you'd actualy been there. Also remember to hold down the ctrl button when your foggin' it up because that will apply the fog to all players instead of just 1.

Just so you know you can't remove maprevealers at a location. But you can remove them if you just use the plain "remove" action instead of "remove at location"

If you want only a few removed you will have to remove them all then recreate the old ones.

But your probolly only refering to fog of war, Just make sure you use Hold Shift or Control (whatever) so you can edit the fog of ware for all players and not just one at a time, or just use SCMDraft to do it for all players.
