Use any kills to cash method found in the Tutorials Database but instead of giving cash, play a gunshot sound.

That wont exactly work...

If you are going to use that, then you must make all units die in one hit, other wise only the last shot will have a sound.

You could possibly use EUD's for it but im not sure if that has been discovered yet (You could make the unit shoot like observers (Using EUD's) then everytime a observer is on the screen remove it and play the wav) but if your new to map making that wouldn't be the easier way. If its even possible.

For the cash to kills thing, if you're going to be using a vespene gas thing for the count, whenever you add 1 vespene gas, play the gunshot sound.

He said when a unit dies, not when a unit shoots. The latter is very difficult, if not impossible.
