i havn't used starcraft or the map editor in ages and i come back to this site and i see stuff about ued triggers can some one tell me about
what is a ued trigger and how do i operate them ?

Ok, first, they are EUD triggers, second, dont use starforge for EUD triggers. Go download Uber@tion and use the trigger editor, it makes EUD triggs simple.

Yes, you need Starforge. It works well for many other non-trigger features and if you are allergic to Starforge triggers you won't be able to handle Uber@tion either. Read the pinned thread in concepts and this tutorial on EUD's

uBeR@TiOn is much more friendly than SF triggers...
You don't need SF if you are going uBeR@TiOn for EUD triggers.

It's actually very easy to learn text-based triggers from starforge. Just follow the guide on top of the triggers list and you'll get the hang of it. It will soon come to you as a habit of typing out setdeaths(p1,setto,0,-34112);
