Ok, Another forum about wavs ermm.gif

How can you make a WAV file fade, so it sounds better when you loop?

If you can either do it for me, wink.gif or tell me how happy.gif

EDIT: Sound recorder on windows doesn't do it sad.gif
And i also am not going to buy one, since this is for a one time use.
Nor will i google search for one, i am too lazy.

NOTE: Fading the end of the wav.

you could try cool edit 95. i only use it to compress, but i'm sure you can fade, too. and it's free. you just can't use all of it's options at one time.

Go to sourceforge.net and download Audacity (its fast and free and you can remove it when your finished) Open the wav you want to fade and add the Fade Out effect. Save it to your computer and insert into your desired map.

What you could try doing also, is instead of having different wavs for the whole thing, you could have one wav, when it plays for the normal song, have about 4 of the same wav playing at the exact same time. It makes the sound louder. To fade out, you simply play one wav less at a time. Granted this does not work for fast fade outs.
