helpsmilie.gif In a map im making there's an unplaceable unit somewhere. When I start the game there's an annoying beep and the Unit Unplaceable message comes up. How can I find the unit in the editor, delete it, and get rid of this message? How do I find out where the coordinates that it gives me are?

Look for unplacable terrain and bigger units.
Could i see the map? (I dont need to, but i want to see how much unplacable terrain there is)

Really, other than that, you have to look for it.

Er, It's a friend's map and he wants to keep it secret for now O.O.
Your sure that the coordinates in the message mean NOTHING?? huh.gif

You take the coordinates and you divide by 32. That should give you the grid location rather than the pixel location.

alright. heres something i have learned on my own. start locations. if u use starforge and use their start locations that are different from default colors, you will get this when going into another editor. but it will just change it to default color

actualy the start location isn't the only thing that changes back to the orginal color. All players are changed into their original colors because other editors (like scxtra) don't support colors like starforge does.

.... but i don't see why this has anything to do with the topic confused.gif

You don't need to do any of that divide by 32 stuff. On the bottom left corner of any editor there should be coordinated (x,y) Just move around with your mouse until you find the right coordinate

Uh, I don't think that 7119 exists on my map editor.

Anyway, I got it to work, thanks.

Staredit doesn't have pixel location, only grid location, so you would need to divide by 32 if you're opening it in Staredit. Starforge (maybe SCMDraft too?) has grid location as well as pixel location.

it should say

unit unplaceable (x/x)

the x means the pixel coordination.

Dividing it by 32 will give you grid numbers co ordinates.

jot down the things when game starts
