Overview: The Defence is played on teams of 2vs2. But here is where it gets interesting... You throw the ball at your teammate! You pass the ball back and forth across the area hitting enemies as they run down. Be careful the ball can kill your partner too causeing a 1 second respawn time.
The Scoring System: Unlike other defences where you keep the enemy from reaching the end in this you have to kill as many without dieing as you possiably can. You play for 10 minutes and whoever has the highest score at the end Wins! The Points Are As Follows:
Kill 1 Enemy: 1 Points Points Powerup: 10,7,5 Points If You Die: -3 Points
Enemies: All the enemies will be reavers. At the very begining of the game there will be some normal reavers running down and they will be very slow. Great way to practice fireing and dodgeing with your teammate. At about 30 seconds in the Hero Reavers will start to come. They will come in 3.5 second intervals in random formations. Only 3 may come at a single time. These will continue until you reach 5 minutes. then the boss will come. Information on the boss is classified but it will be prety damn hard and will require Intence co-peration!
Powerups: At the begining (Normal Reavers) There will be NO powerups. On the Hero Reavers a powerup will be placed giving you 2 balls (Double Troble). This is an advantage and disadvantage because you can hit your partner while he might be fireing. More Powerups are Listed Below. To pick up a powerup simply throw the ball at it.
Explosion: Blows up 3 rows including the one its on killing all enemies in its path! Speed: Heals your Marine Allowing you to use stimpack for 10 seconds! Confusion: Creates Waves from the bottem of the screen causing enemies to run in different directions! Point Bonus: Gain A Random Amount Of Points (10,7,5)[/b]

hey this is a pretty neat idea. you never told me that you could kill me but maybe you could add some lives or something.

Urmom, I alredy stated there will be respawn times. When you die you wait 3 seconds then respawn. Be careful, 3 Seconds is more than it seems and can waste precious seconds in the later levels.
Update
Ive been working on this prety hard and it is reaching the 70% Completion mark. I have all throwing systems and basic systems implemented. It shouldn't take long to make the enemies because I have them all set to switches so It can easily be created. I have also picked the music as the original tetris music to go in this map as background music. I am curently working on the powerup systems. I need more powerup Ideas. Please post some here.
-Finished Throwing Triggers -Finished Basic Systems (Ordering Enemies, Health, ect...
New Powerup: Confusion This will create DarkTemplars at the bottem and they will run up toward the enemies and as they colide the enemies will slow down and run sideways making them confused.
Still Need Powerup Ideas!

You could make a system that allows to turn tetris music on and off because some may not like it. BTW music takes a lot off space--->longer download time on B.net.

Update Ok... Progress has been slowed as I am testing it for some bugs with the throwing systems. Thanks to everyone who helped me test and helped me find bugs.
-There Will No Longer Be A Unit Unplacible Error When P4 Throws The 2ed Ball -There Hopefuly will be no more troble in picking up the ball and having no room to spawn.
Drop Ball System: This system is in the works and seems to mess up most of the time. I am trying to perfect it. Thanks to Hitok1r1 for helping me test it... But it just wouldn't work no matter what I did to it. I cam curently working on a better way.
NEW POWERUP IDEA: DropBall: Forces the Other team To Drop Their ball and Pick it Up. (Takes About 1 second)

Update: Ok I have fixed 1 glitch and am still working on the ball droping system. And another thanks to anyone who helped me test the map. Once I finish the ball droping system I will Release a DEMO with NO powerups and will release that. It will give you a sence of the type of gameplay I am going for.
