The Year is 2012. Upon the capture of Osama Bin Laden, many arabs who are still devoted rise up against the United States. They begin rapidly spreading anti-American feelings through out many Islamic nations. At the peak of the demonstrations, a secret army that was amassed in Turkey invades across southern Europe. Using nuclear weapons from a Pakistani rebel group, the army defeats spain, and sweeps across Europe from both the East and from Africa in the South. At the sign of the first nuclear missile launches, and fearing more to come, the United States takes matters into their own hands. They have sent out a myriad of strike teams to different parts of the world to recover remaining nuclear weapons, using any means nessisary, so they wont fall into the wrong hands. You are a member of this strike force, sent into India, which has recently been devastated by a nuclear strike of it's own. It is your job to retrieve the missiles, and destroy them.

Overveiw:
This will be a side scroller, rapid fire, shoot-em-up game, enemies and terrain will be random. You will have to think fast on your feet to defeat onslaughts of enemies, and retrieve the nuclear warheads.

This is looking prety awsom. Make sure it has enhanced gameplay and lets you shoot faster or some type of shooting system. Random Terrain? What do you mean by this? Buildings placed randomly? Or different places that you can start at?

Is this that terrain demo that you showed me? Because if it is, this looks AWESOME.

Ok, so the hero's are going to be Jets, (Wraith's) underneath them, you control an scv, simply right click your hero and you'll repair the jet, which will fire whatever ammo you have. This makes for rapid, easy to use firing.
The terrain for this will be made of units, no specatular EUD moving sprites. IT gives the feeling of moving at jet speed.

I'm sorta offended by the story, but the gameplay sounds great.

Ya, I was sorta scared someone would get offended. It is a little scaryish. But I got most of it from what some have interpreted Nostradamus' prediction of world war 3 will be.

Is this the one map you showed me earlier on? This map is gonna be aweseome. Can't wait for it to release. PS : hows the terrain coming on dundane?

Hehe finally a production thread. it looks really nice from what you've showed me i don't if y ou've added anything like enemies bu dodging terrain and shooting was fun. I'm posting this from a mac! i feel your pain rantent macs sck.

I wish SCMDraft 2 for macs came out.

And I'm still trying to work out the enemy a.i. It's harder than you think to try to make the enemies dodge random terrain.
