-May Need Hypers, I Do Not Know
ADVANTAGES:
-Easier
-You Can ACTUALLY Watch These Sprites Being Made, without crash, No EUDs
-Cool, cuz i said so
Missile turrets? What happens?
Can you be more descriptive on the effects of the Concept you are posting?
Most likely creates a sprite of the missle turret base.
Kinda cool, but there's not much of a differnce between placing the sprite and creating it.
Also, I didn't test this, and I'm skeptical to see if it works. Attach a map?
I half-expect he thinks that tank turrets can be made via triggers...
guys, you ar acting as though i'm being hypothetical, which i'm not, i did it, place a turret in junk yard dog (like in most maps) and then remove it...can you understand that? The Whole Concept Of This Is do the trigger, and its a better way to do sprites because you can watch it being made, with no sprites, if you want me to be specific, it makes the rock sprites like in dabbu's method, but in this method it easier, and you wont crash if you watch it being made.
Mind posting a map for people to see? I don't understand how removing the turret creates rock sprites...
my computer is buggy, so i lost all my maps and pretty much everything on it, but its actually removing a turret in junkyard dog, why are you asking me why this happens!?
its such a simple method, why not try it out yourself?
I dont understand what unit sprites are for. Do you guys know what they are used for?
I just made the map n tested it but the sprites doesnt create where the turret is though...

Dont Need
and this has any mapmaking significance how??..?.?..?
Lead, the creation of sprites can greatly enhance a map, as well as allow for very cool effect, play rockblocks by dabbu (thats an oldie) and you'll see what I mean. If shorty has found a method to create sprites without the danger of crashing people, then it is obviously useful.
I guess ill make a test map of this and see if it works.
Yep, it does, nice find shorty.
good, now there is no risk of crashing, but

:/ where exacly does it place it then?
it placed up more from the turret, just try the map.

thats just being arrogant
Of course it was just being arrogant, or maybe just really really obtuse, if he couldn't see the use of creating sprites.
All we need is a way of removing them.
And I'm wondering does this work with other units?
Good find, is the turret still there just not visable or is it removed and creates a sprite. i know you remove it with triggers but does it really remove? what if you could remove the sprite like rantent said

I tried many buildings but only the buildings that can attack works(cannon, turret, sunken, n spore)

all makes the same sprite?
Why dont you just make the map? It takes 1 minute.
The photon cannon, sunken + spore colonies, and missile turret makes a rock (yes, the same).
Im testing units right now, although I dont think any will work.
DISADVANTAGE:
- You can only have 1 AI script running for a player at one time. So, you need multiple players running 'Junk Yard Dog' if you want multiple locations.
- Seems to create the rocks a bit higher than where you create the building.
I did.
Nothing.
I am assuming (after testing about 12
) that you cant create unit sprites. Someone else may want to go through every unit, but I dont.
Good luck to ya!

You can cancel AI scripts.
And I'm wondering what units you tested?
mayb it'll work with other AI scripts
