Yeah, it's that time again. I've finished another map, this time my first (released) Defense map.
The version is Beta 012, and I would prefer if this were kept inside the StarEdit.net community just for now.

You start with a Dark Archon and the enemies start coming in. Each one you zap is worth 1 Mineral, with a bonus Mineral every 5 kills. The Minerals are used to buy heroes. All the enemies are rushing towards the center, because that's where the Overmind is. The Overmind has 8888 HP, and the enemies increase in HP and Attack Power every round. So basically, start Feedbacking. Endless F+Clicking. tongue.gif

Features
*12 Heroes and 2 One-Time Use Purchases
*6 Rounds, 2 Waves each, plus the Final Round
*Enemy # is dependant upon # of Players present
*A highlight of my Player Research. wink.gif
*It's Feedback, damnit. It's weird. OK?

Yeah, so gogo. Will update with new versions as they come out.

lts ok, although the idea is pretty original, its pretty much like any other defense. While your at it, why not have an irridate defense, or a shockwave defense? No bugs were found, mediocre briefing [Title explains itself] so l guess there isnt to credit for. Terrain is pretty clean, so overall its nothing special. Pretty good balance, although being able to purchase another Archon would be great.

Worth the download, but l would only play it once.

Okay, released Beta v012, and trying to keep this topic alive. tongue.gif
The map as a whole is much easier now.
*Heroes are much more affordable.
*The briefing looks less half-assed.
*You get a bonus Mineral every 5 kills.
*Bugs were fixed, including buying Guards... P5 wasn't allied, so it pwned all your air stuff. They also got a huge HP boost and a point of armor.
*Terrain was sexified.
*Overmind has more HP.

Overall a much better map now. Enjoy. biggrin.gif
There is still a little work to do, then I'll release the map.

l thought the whole point of buying the spore colonies was for the attacking. l never liked the gritty terrain. lt dosnt seem smooth, nor does it look messy enough to be appreciated. The high contrast in terrain diffrence dosnt look right. lf you add a clear pattern, then l wouldnt hate the terrain so much. The map has gone from meager to average.

Sounds great, but I will not download it. I'm not a huge fan of defenses.

Camo, thats some major spamming of the boards!
Tried it, didn't like the style myself, but good work!
