Something like the system used in the thread below might do the trick.
Its a gunner system, but the same ideas for gravity could be used.

It'd be so hard you wouldn't believe. Physics are pretty much impossible to replicate in starcraft due to the limit on locations. To make some accurate physics model which is required for a pinball game would be such a monumental task anyway because of starcrafts weak possibilities for detecting various key things needed to accuretly create a physics model.

Gravity would be simpiler to mimic, but to make an effective gravity system for a pinball game would be near another monumental feat.

/offtopic ramblings
another problem that would have been fixed by movable locations, detecting unit speed, possibly detecting unit direction, unit position, using euds...
...sigh...

Ugh, pinball actully wouldn't be that hard to make. I could have made one a while back, but it would have been slow. Pinball would just be long and boring not really hard.
This sort of gravity shooter system would work better than the other one though. Because this one all you would need to do is set deathcounts to create bouncing. If you can understand the triggers I used in it, it's really quite simple.

Just like for pinball going down, order it to the area where u lose the ball... Like a ground unit...

Maybe if you used 4x speed, then the speed would look realistic. hint: OMG PERFECT CHANCE TO USE 4X WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT WHO JUST WANTS TO MAKE IT LOOK FUNNY!

intresting ideas, thanx guys, anyone wanna help me? im starting today, i never thought about useing death counts. I was just going to use switches, but now I can make it 3 players, awsome.

the only other issuse that I have is that, I have tryed makeing the 4x speed, and i got it working once but then it just spopped, i played once and then i made more of the map and then I went back it stopped working.

any ideas, no i dont have the map.

The p14 interceptor has to be placed as the first unit in your map. Everything before it will be frozen.

I don't know what size you want. Just do it yourself, not hard. Start map. Snow - dirt - size, ok. place p14 interceptor at the corner of the map, import whatever you want. -.-

im sure it could be accomplished easily, but it woulden't be so good, for it to really be fast and fun, it would be nearly impossible.

Pinball wouldn't be too hard to make, although it would be more of a Pong/Breakout type game instead.
