[Bunker Will Be Invisible] i don't see whats so different to 1-2..
So this is exactly like Vic's map but with less players and a different defense area? Oh and you may have different bound obstacles, but it's still a level up. So I'll assume its exactly like Vic's.
no its not exactly like it, its a combination between castspell bound and using disruption web to create bunkers, so this bound defense is controlled totally by using ur energy(dark swarm and disruption web).......
makes a difference building bunkers.
it goes alot faster.
To tell you the truth (do not get discouraged), but the map you are planning to create is not going to be "fun" for most people. The main reasion: its been done before. Sure you added some other stuff and other concepts, but its all really the same thing. Who wants to play a map that they already experienced before? Vic has already created one of these as well as Trix, and if you are planning to create another one, it would be very unappealing. There are other reasons, as "build defense, wait and watch them kill stuff without user input (repeat)," get old really fast (few exceptions).
Try doing more things with the defense. Try having special kinds of defensive units that could be built which do specific things and interact specifically instead of just being able to modify which units would be created in the invisible bunker.
Try creating a defense where there could be different points in the defense that are different from the other points, as effectiveness of the defense is concerned (meaning: building in random places would create a less effective defense then building in certain specific places).
One path defenses (where they go in one direction) is really boring... no strategy to as where to build stuff (just build anywhere and they will attack it) and no fun.
As a note, castspell bound was very unpopular as it was very difficult to control the zergling with the extreme abount of lag that results from casting spells, not to mention that it is VERY difficult to cast multipule spells in a row AND keep in tune with the spell's lag time (it fluxuates depending on what point you decide to cast the next spell as the unit is within the casting animation and action), add in game lag (which makes regular bounding already impossible), and you have a horrible bounding experience. (Also note: it was also unpopular because it was a 2mb game).

thanx for your honest red2blue....i will take this critism into consideration while making this map......im putting this map on hold for right now....so i can think of some ideas...

The map looks fine visually, you just have to put some thought into your audience and the general public. Bound Defense... you bound then defend right? Why must all sequels be the same idea? Why not change the bounding style? Why not make it so you have chances to beat a bound level (like level up) and the more chances you have left when you beat the level the more money you get? Or how about having bound obstacles that are randomly created and get more difficult as the levels progress? Or how about having separate bound areas where everyone must defend on their own in a competitive type defense? Or how about having a defense where you try to collect all the switches in a bound level before other players to determine the amount of money you get?
Those my friend, would be some fun new ideas to tap into. Those were my ideas for a bound defense that I would never make (cause im lazy). Good Luck, Have Fun
the only reason im puttin it on hold for right now is cux im working on another map....i will try and continue and finish this defense
