Staredit Network -> StarCraft Editing Related -> My Problem with Map Making

You know what i hate about map making how u have to copy each trigger to each player, it would be easier if u could copy a trigger and paste it to a different player, but nope u gotta create a new one and do it all over again, it'd be much easier if there was an editor out there that could Copy Triggers easily, without having to do each one over for each player, maps these days are not being finished because of the laziness ppl dont want to do 50 triggers for each player, i know SF has a copy and paste feature but im saying copying like a whole trigger conditions and actions. i dunno if its me but if someone can make an editor like that, it would be the ownage. just my idea of how map making gets frustrating alot. lmfao.gif

You could also open your triggers in SCMdraft2, then paste them into text, and use find and replace.

um... you could just set the player to current player when the trigger is stuff like 'Current player brings 1 marine to location blah.', select the trigger, press copy however many times, then change the player it affects to a different player for every copy. thats wut i do mellow.gif
PS: sorry if this counts as a bump.

You dont have to redo any triggers... just copy and edit the player it is for..

it does take awhile even in SF when you copy the trigger then you go around highligh number... Push next number then save... Then you do it for all players...
