Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Removing Map Revealers
Report, edit, etc...Posted by tkdrocks on 2005-08-21 at 18:56:42
Ok, In my map, I create two map revelaers. Then, the player's location is centered somewhere else, and I want to remove the two map revealers. I tried Remove all Map Revealers Owned by Player 1 at location A, and Remove all Map Revealers Owned by Player 1 at location B. The Condition is being fufuilled because right before its suppose to remove the map revealers, it displays text. So is it possible to remove map revealers?

It should be possible I've done so before.
Maybe your location moved before the revealer was removed?

I just tested it--->It is impossible to remove/kill/move map revealer. It just reveals map and cannot be detected nor affected.

I've heard you have to remove all the map revealers. You can't do remove at location.

I'm sure removeunit trigger works with map revealers. Don't know about removeunitatlocation. Map revealers can be created for sure, and I'm sure you can't give map revealers to different players. Oh, and map revealers don't have a death count.

I just tested it -- Move Map Revealers At Location Doesnt Work, Remove all Map Revealers, what devilesk said does work.

Starforge will let you do anything, but vanilla Staredit and SCXE will exclude Map Revealers from the Remove Unit at Location trigger's list.

The point is, you can only use the Remove Unit (the one that only takes 2 parameters instead of the one that takes 4) on Map Revealers.

you could try disableing them or makeing them for a computer then shareign vision with them then turning it off

u guys are stupid roflmao (im only saying that cuz i finally know something other people dont)

i think the mogster taught me..

Remove all any unit. thats the only way to do it

not 1, not at location. but remove all any unit. otherwise you have to leave em there.

Yes, you must do a Remove All 'Map Revealer' trigger. Using the Remove 'units' at 'location' does not work on Map Revealers. Sucks doesn't it? Especially when you only want specific ones gone. You'd need to remove them all and then make replacement Map Revealers.

Yes we totally need that point repeated 6 times:

The people who posted before me weren't sure. The people who posted after me just couldn't read.
