Throughout the ages, Us humans have gazed into the night sky and pondered this question. And for just as long, humans have surmised that surely there must be other races out there

As we enter the new millennium, we still cannot prove that there is anyone out there.

There are some who say they have already witnessed proof, and there are many more who believe what they say. Yet many others remain skeptical. Undeniable proof remains elusive. I for one think there crazy ppl.

Many scientists today echo the sentiments of the philosophers and poets of old. As we learn more and more about this universe we live in, it is becoming widely accepted that life should be abundant throughout the Galaxy, and that many civilizations should have long ago surpassed the level of knowledge that we now possess.

As we gradually extend our perception further and further from the Earth that gave us life, we cannot help but wonder: Where are they? Could it be that not one of them has ever visited this little corner of the Galaxy?
Although most scientists refuse to speculate in public on this subject, some believe that we should have been visited already. And there is reason to suspect that someone may be watching us this very moment, and has been for a very long time. but i dont really go with this theory (And this is why.)

If there really is someone out there, then it appears they don't want us to know it. For if they wanted us to know, they could easily have gotten our attention by now.
With every passing year, we are looking more and more deeply out into the universe. If they are out there, we surely will find them someday. It seems unlikely that none of them would ever want us to know them.
Undeniable contact seems inevitable. But how long will we have to wait? years? centuries,melleniums?
And How will it happen? will they be hostile or come in "Peace"

i really dont know, but im sure there is life out there.

In all liklihood once we encounter alien life we will have no clue as to how to communicate with it, however, I think its practically inevitable that at some point we will run into alien life, considering the utter vastness of our universe.

lets see a thousand planets in a galaxy, we got a million galaxys, a million to billion universes XD

In a serious discussion a poll option like the last one is not necessary.

As for being alone, I doubt it. The universe is HUGE, bigger than you can imagine. Thinking we are alone in all that space is dumb I think. And if we truly are alone then it sucks.

I absolutly agree with nuclear, intellegent life on a different planet is likely posible, but maybe, they're waiting, like we are, or they could still be looking for us . Let's hope it wont become hostile, assuming everything I say is true.

I think we are alone if we're talking about actual living alien creatures. But if it's just life out there we're talking about (like plants, bacteria, etc) then we're not alone.

Then there is a chance that they might exist, but until the day i see them, i wont believe that they exist.

Kind of like the atheist's view about God. Until you see proof of his existence, you will assume that he doesn't exist

But there has to be something out there even if it isnt a god or buddah or w/e u belive in.

Why does there have to be something out there? I mean there could be something out there, not necessarily there has to be something out there.

well in the GIGANTIC GARGANTUAN MASSIVENESS of our universe, there HAS to be something.

simply by probability, a race like the Zerg MIGHT evolve. or the protoss. and then duran comes along....

I'm saying there is a chance something is out there. No one knows for sure. We might never know. But you guys are acting as though you need to believe that something is out there, otherwise you'd die of loneliness.

well. wouldn't our genes EVENTUALLY degrade without outside intervention/alteration?

Why do we need to worry about things outside of our world when we've already got huge burdens and serious problems here on earth. Until we get our world perfect (which probably would never occur in our lifetimes) then we can focus on trying to look for some aliens.

Im not denying their existence. I'm basically a skeptic in this situation. There's no proof that they exist or not exist.

We can't be alone. The universe is to vast.

We can't be alone. But Area 51 is what confusses most people. They don't report anyting. They keep it all to there selves. Thats what makes me mad. We don't really know if we can trust people that say "AHH!! I was ubducted" and belive it.

We're not alone. Somewhere, out there, theres something going on. We might never find it but theres something out there.

There is probably life forms out there. But its either they come to us or we come to them, but until then we wont have that much proof that they do "exist"
