i dont know if n e one here has played beacon defence, but i want to kno how the creator made the beacon say "place COP" and made it placeable.

It's a flag beacon. Flag beacons have place cop.

It can COP and it has a flag on it.

It's made for CTF, though I don't know anything beyond that, other than the fact that it can, as DTBK said, COP, which just moves it, and spawns a flag after a time.

As DTBK said, the flag beacon can place cop's, and that moves the entire beacon, but u can only do it once, (explaination of beacon defense dont know if you need) so theres a center location on the bunker, and it does the load all units, bla bla bla, i could tell ya the whole thing, but im lazy...

I once used them for a shooting game where players placed their beacons and then I had a mini gun sound and everything in the area died.. But after a certain amount of the time the flag appears and the beacons can't be COP'ed anymore so it ended my idea.. sad.gif

well duh, ud hav to center the location on the new beacon, do the action, remove the beacon and the original one, then create a new one at that location, plus add a trigger that keeps removing the flag if they take too long

-or-

if u wanna keep creating nmore then one COP'ed beacon, after the actions for the minigun are done, disable the beacon and create a new flag beacon at the original position

they last for 10 minutes, after the first 10 m,inutes of the game you cant use it AT ALL. and i have played CTF on bnet so i know what its like.

I thought you could remove the flag and spawn a new beacon and you could still place cop.

After 10 minutes into the game the Flag automatically appears on the beacon and COP is disabled.
