For some reason, over and over again, I couldn't upload maps with a forum thread. I got an error message that said "You cannot upload this type of file." I've tried .rar, .zip, and .scx, but the same problem occured every time. As a last resort, I've sent the map into the Download section, where, if approved, y'all can finally try this World of Starcraft I've made and ranted about ever since I joined this site.

I get the same problem (sometime). I try .rar,.zip,.scx,and scm but sometimes it just won't load ><

Well, I submitted it to the Download section, and it was accepted, so apparently the forum's the only place this happened. Note that I didn't have problems before, it only started recently. To be exact, the problem started when I started a new World of Starcraft topic ("World of Starcraft, Progress Report") cuz I couldn't wait to show people my map after a recent post in the first thread, which ended in a successful upload of "Marine Boot Camp" in .zip format, which you can find here.
Quoting the error verbatim (when uploading via .scx):

My computer is a Win98 that does NOT name files with an extension but there is a dropdown list that automatically adds the extension after you hit "Save"
The exclamation mark in the front? There was a bug in the map thingy, where the list of maps (when you create a game) was limited to a certain number, so as the names were in alphabetical order, "World of Starcraft" was kicked out, so "!World of Starcraft" would appear closer to the top of the list.
If what I just said doesn't make sense to you, I guess I could rephrase it.

As much as I hate to do so, let me rephrase my last thread.
There was NOTHING wrong with my submitting it to the Download section.
It was when I try to attach the map with forum topics (such as this) that I get the error message.

The bug report here is about the upload in forum.
My last post was that uploading OUTSIDE forum works.
