Can you make zerg buildings that don't need creep, and don't spread creep in UMS?
And if so, can you make it so people can make them IN game without openinig the map? I'm just wondering confused.gif

If you put them on like... A big square of one tile (from oh say... the cliff?) that continues, it will eliminate the creep. But if its a medium sized that it might show some creep on the edges.

Creep spread only on buildable terrain. However, creep can bridge walkable but unbuildable terrian, and spread on the other side. Unwalkable terrain will stop creep growth.

The answer to your question is essentially no.

There might possibly be an unsdiscovered method to easily disable creep, but as of now, there is not. Surrounding the building with other buildings(Non-Zerg) or unbuildable terrain prevents creep growth.

NULL terrain is unwalkable but can be built on(with or without triggers). Even creep spreds on it..... this has nothing to do with anything. I think the best way is wat deathknight said. surround it with tiles that cant be built on. I like to use sections of the RAMPS cuz they have cool textures.... if you are going to have sunken colonies or something just build a 4x4 box with a 2x2 hole in the middle for the colony.
