I decided to put this in serious discussion and see what happens.

The premise is that someone says something that they strongly believe, but that many others might disagree with (for example nuclearrabbit saying something about anarchy), people agree and disagree about it for a while until:

1. People get bored of it
2. Flaming escalates to unsafe levels
3. Most of the community ends up excluded from the discussion
4. Most people think it's time to move on to something else (although the previous topic can be continued in a separate thread).

For example (you can skip this if you want):
nuclearrabbit: An anarchist society is better then both a capitalist one and a socialist one because of x y and z reasons.
ihatett: Your completely wrong as always, an anarchist society wouldn't work and a capitalist one would be much better for these reasons
otherperson: agrees or disagrees
debate debate debate etc etc etc
AnotherPerson: This is getting old how about: "Religion robs people of their free will by making them follow stupid sets of rules for no apparent reason"
krazydrunkking: Sure, let's switch to this.

The only thing I can see going wrong is people spending too much time arguing about which topic to do next and such.

I would start with:
Argree or disagree (and state your reasons) with the following:
"Sometimes something forces you to make people do things you really doesn't want to make them do and the only way you can get what you really want is if that someone goes against your wishes."

But I'm sure you people could come up with much better topics.

Although this may be true in many traditional places, it isn't true everywhere.

I think you need to be more specific.

You don't need to manipluate to get to the top of a literal hill.

You need to manipulate your legs.

How about:

Green is the most common color on earth.

People who are "mentaly retarded" (No offense intended) shouldn't go to school.

I think that they should go to school in some sense, although the schools they go to should be very different from other schools (although not more expensive), and they shouldn't be held to the same standards as other students (shouldn't have to pass the same tests).

But you should have stated a reason Infested-Jerk to give me something to argue against.

They are normally only blamed for things. Religious wars are seldom (If never) only about religion.
Money is the real cause for most of the problems in the world, simply because it is a scapegoat for the wants of people with less than those who have it.

Better to whom? The earth? Earth is fine. We're nothing compared to the Earth. Earth can easily kick our ass if it wanted, but it's not going to cause we're just not a big enough threat.

I think capitalism isn't just wrong, its a bunch of rich corporate wonderful friends sitting in a room talking about what other rights they can take from the working class. Corporations are twisted and should be to the realm of non-vital household goods.

Earth is the specimen on display. Humans, are the virus.

Ok, so your veiw is against Capitalism, and for....? There isn't really a proven better way.

Capitalism basically is regulated by how much people want things. The corporations are there because YOU (The consumer) wanted there stuff. Otherwise they would have just gone out of business. THe only true problem with it is when the corporations try to impose laws restricting resource areas. Government tries to hold it together, but they cannot see which laws would make the economy a fairer playing field and which will end in screwing everyone. The main point is that in every system, there will be the rich who screws everyone over. Name one place on earth, no matter what their government system, that has no economic difference between the ruling class and that of the average person, I'm moving there.

And in actuality, the corporations are better then the government run programs. I pay less money for shipping with FedEx than with the postal service. Simply because one is corporate run and the other is governmental. Truth is government run programs (The basis of communism) don't do as well as Corporate run programs. There are points at which there should be government run programs though, one example I'll make is gasoline.
Many countries in africa have government owned gas stations, so they all get the same pay no matter what they produce. But they get more pay for selling more gasoline. So the gas stations have to compete on different playing feilds than price to get service. So when you drive into a gasoline station, they will wipe your window, fill your tank, and wash your car, simply because thats the only way to beat competition. They have to out perform the competitors.

Corporations, though, are more corrupt. They and hide they're real actions. And once they have vital utilities or big industry, everything goes wrong.
