[center]Incom Fighters[/center]
This map is a arena map like Melee Duel Arena. Except, this will be a Free For All type of arena map (and has a smaller arena). Each player selects with character they are going to use. In the arena there will be hidden traps that consistently damage you, the traps are fairly weak and basically only do 1 damage. There will be a wave of enemy bystanders in the arena that spawn every minute. Every 3 waves, they become stronger. Every kill you get, you 10 minerals. With those minerals, you can:
- Upgrade your weapons: increase your attack damage.
- Upgrade your armor: increase your defense.
- Cast spells/abilities: cast spells/abilities to highly injury your opponents or the wave of enemies. Each character will have their own individual spells/abilities.
- Plant mines to destroy the wave to enemies and, hopefully, injury/destroy an opponent. Costs 20 Mana.
- Save up: save up for more minerals to cast stronger spells/abilities.
- Clone yourself: once you have gained enough minerals, you have the option to clone yourself, meaning you can create clone of yourself. Costs 200 Mana.
- Heal: heal all your units to full health. Costs 160 Mana.
All these can be done at a hatchery (except for the first 2). So, if you're smart enough to hotkey your hatchery, you don't have to worry about moving your screen and not knowing what's happening to your unit.
Once you think you're strong enough, you can completely ignore the spawned waves and just bash your opponent to weaken them or kill them. The waves of enemies is basically training to increase your unit's strength.

Classes:
- Pyrobat (Firebat)
- Berzergling (Zergling)
- Gladiator (Zealot)
- Tempest (Tassadar)
- Torralisk (Ultralisk)

Spells:
Each class has 5 different spells that can be used to their own advantage.
Spell One = 20 Mana, Spell Two = 35 Mana, Spell Three = 50 Mana, Spell Four = 80 Mana, Spell Five = 140 Mana.

Pyrobat Spells:
- Spell One: Fire Spirit: Summons a spirit of fire to aid you.
- Spell Two: Flame Tower: Creates a tower of fire attack your opponents.
- Spell Three: Fire Aura: An aura that damages near-by units.
- Spell Four: Fire Arrows: Creates a pact of spiritual archer shooting bolts of fire at your opponents.
- Spell Five: Fire Hazard: Shoots wave of molten lava that floods the arena.

Berzergling Spells:
- Spell One: Spirit Bound: Summons a spirit to aide you in your battles.
- Spell Two: Scarce Image: Makes your body ethereal making it harder for your opponents to hit you.
- Spell Three: Scarrful Rush: A burst of raging power.
- Spell Four: Toxic Urea: A poisonous gas damaging near-by units.
- Spell Five: Mounted Potion: Creates a swarm of poisonous bugs. Unfortunately the bug dies after releasing its poison.

Gladiator Spells:
- Spell One: Shielding: Temporarily "overpowers" the Gladiator's shields.
- Spell Two: Blade of Silence: Swing a powerful blade.
- Spell Three: Aura of Faith: An aura that damages near-by units.
- Spell Four: Illusion: Creates illusionary clones of you. These illusions deal damage. These illusions only last for 5 seconds.
- Spell Five: Darkness Rising: Summons a horde of dark assassins to do your bidding.

Tempest Spells:
- Spell One: Twister: Forces near-by units to be sucked into the center.
- Spell Two: Tornado: A randomly moving Tornado that sucks your opponents to the Tornado.
- Spell Three: Cyclone Shielding: Regenerates your shields.
- Spell Four: Hurricane: Creates a hurricane that damages near-by opponents while you sit in the eye of the storm.
- Spell Five: Wind Storm: Summons a powerful wind to crush your opponents.

Torralisk Spells:
- Spell One: Bashing Claw: A fierce attack that blows your opponents to the wall.
- Spell Two: Deadly Smite: A deadly attack that drags your opponents toward the center.
- Spell Three: Crushing Blow: An attack that temporarily immobilizes your opponent.
- Spell Four: Hidden Fury: Hides you in the darkness while you attack your opponents:
- Spell Five: Unstoppable Outrage: Makes you invincible for a short amount of time.

umm... my suggestion is that you keep unit names to default or you change them so they're better. and thats all the suggestion i have.

Yeah, I agree with FatalException. Either change the units's names to the oringinal name, or change them to make it better.

The only Fatal Exception (lol) is (no, it's really exception) is the Firebat and the Ultralisk.

I kind of loike the name Pyrobat and Torralisk.

depends on what kind of... how do i put this... theme, probably, you want the game to have. if its some kind of weird alien fight colloseum thing, you could do things like, clawed beast (ling), gladiator (zealot), things like that. or you could just use default names and possibly do some font color changing if you want... or if its supposed to be on earth then you could have names like Attack dog (ling) Pyromaniac (firebat) Genetic Experiment (ultra) bladesman (zlot) and Light mage (tassadar).pretty much wut i have.... oh yeah and shadow sniper? your computer will now crash, and your screen will say "A FatalException OWNDU has occured." because you made that pun.

Incom fighters...you mean like a Howlrunner, X-Wing, Z-95, Republic Peace Defender, etc?

Sounds interesting though...this map could be an extremely bloody killfest with players absolutely rampaging around at enemies and each other, and battle.net could use something like that in circulation.

Oh, just be sure to playtest all the unit types for balance. Fighting maps are a lot worse if there are some units that are never used because they're not as good as the others.

Update: Added a list of spells. Any spell named ??? means there isn't one made yet. If you have a suggestion for some spells, please feel free to post it. I've also added mana costs for healing, laying mines, and cloneing.

kind of got lost and left StarCraft for Xbox Live for awhile. And now I've decided to finish this. biggrin.gif And if you look at the Depression RPG topic on the 3rd page, it states that I've abandoned that production.

Sounds like a fun game but u should add a templar that sucks but he comes with 2 other units that are awsome and if the templar dies they do 2 or something.

Edit: Oops there is a Tessadar but that 1 would be cool toot.gif

I like them all but make sure whichever one you do choose to COMPRESS IT ALOT!!! will make the dl much faster.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy with school and other stuff. The production of this map will move a little slower now, I'm sorry.

ADDITION:
Since I'm in boarding school, I did not bring my map with me to work on. On September 24, 2005, I will be able to return home for the weekend and there, I will get my map. Once again, I am sorry that I had to hult the production of this map, but I will NOT give up on this map's production. The internet at this school is pretty damn crappy, its fast... but crappy. The bandwidth gets too high alot. Because of the crappy internet it is hard for me to post. Please continue to post your suggestions and ideas. Once again, I am sorry that I had to hult this map's production. Thank you.
