The v5 site is now password protected. Why? Because some of you couldn't keep your big mouths shut and now we got like 10 more people browsing the site. That wasn't supposed to happen.
IP, I had to remove your avatar because it was linking to SEN v5 and prompting for a password on each load on this site. You know, that may very well be how people found out the link to SEN v5. Your avatar link.
And google doesn't cache random urls, it uses "spiders", which are automated bots that surf through pages, cache them, finds keywords, finds links to other websites and so on.
So, are you gonna let us in or just keep it locked?
I'm not sure what you expected with just throwing random people onto the v5 testing team. There are like 50 registered members on v5.
Anyways, is the password in another topic? I'm stumped.
Is it me or would that pass/login be the FTP one? We'll keep it locked for now.
When you do open it up for us do this:
Password
If a new account is created that is not part of "Tester's List" that account is inmediately deleted.
Say I created BeeR_Kegga and on the list it appears as BeeR_KeG, BeeR_KeGGa will be deleted.
Guests cannot view anything except the login page and the create new account page. So if a guest "randomly" pops up at SENv5 like last time, he won't really do any harm because he can't do or see anything.
The List will initially be composed of the original account names of SENv4 like BeeR_KeG, RexyRex, isolatedpurity...
Members can add a new name for testing purposes like BeeR_KeGTest.
I think we should just stick to .htaccess, and have the login/password posted in this forum. That way, if you should be in v5, then you will be.
Unless our little spy decides to give out the login details, too.
i wonder...
nope... doesnt work.
Don't misunderstand, I know how hard it is to make this project seem a reality, and I'm really happy (and amazed) with everything about it...but it seems with every passing day, v5 looks less like a website and more like a faded dream...
Just wanted to let you know there are almost 4000 people waiting on you...
I'm beginning to think that it would have been best not to make that thread, and make v5 one
huge suprise...when it comes. That way people wouldn't be guessing the URL, and I wouldn't be nagging.
Sorry if this post upsets you...
