It's a file in the MPQ, one of the modding addicts will post the filename I'm sure.

Just replace it with your own sound.

For Title Music Change (I Did This With Green Day biggrin.gif)

Name The File That U Want The Music As Title.wav

Add title.wav to WinMPQ With The Extension Music\

Run You Mod.

Listen To Your Music On The Title Screen. yahoo.gif

ADDITION:
Hooway I have 1% Participation Now!!! yahoo.gif

It's because additions subtract from your post count. Atleast, additions under a certain length do.

And Green Day's cool. tongue.gif

The way the addition script works is this:

IF(two posts in a row are posted by the same member) AND (they are within a certain timeframe)

----DELETE the second post
----IF(forum gives minerals and posts)
--------REMOVE 1 post count
--------REMOVE 16 minerals
----EDIT above post to include data from previous post under ADDITION
----IF(forum gives minerals and posts)
--------IF(characters in post > 50) AND (characters in post < something)
------------ADD 1 post count
------------ADD 2 minerals
--------{so on for each mineral amount}

Ok So Your Saying I Should Edit instead Of Adding Another Post?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Voyager7456(MM) on 2005-09-08 at 20:50:04
Yes, but only for double posts. If someone posts after you, add another post. If no one's posted but you have an update, edit.

That's my advice. It's up to you really.

You also should remember that your music piece HAS to be the exact same length as the original title.wav for it to work. I suggest editing the title.wav file, silencing the sounds on it, then pasting yours onto it. The audacity sound editor program works pretty well for this.

Umm, What don't you understand? Here are the procedures on how to do it.

1.) Open BrooDat.mpq with WinMPQ
2.) If you have the song you want, Name it title. (Make sure its a .WAV extension)
3.) Click, And drag the title.wav into the WinMPQ window.
4.) When the window pops up, Type this : title\music\
5.) Close WinMPQ, Then load starcraft, And listen.

music/title.wav

Just tried this and it works, so do what Sly said except use "music\title.wav" instead of "title\music\title.wav".

This is very simple to do, all you need is Shadow's MPQ playlist plugin. You can download this on his site. You need to convert your music to .wavs aswell. If you don't have a wav converter, hit me up on aim and I can send you a nero key. I hope I helped blushing.gif
