Well, I've alwaysed liked listening in on police frequencies, I even build my own tuner just for that purpose. I can't imagine what kind of things you'd hear listening in on what's going on down in the hurricane ravvaged areas of the south.

just a couple of hours ago, they called in a homicide. Pretty bad down there. Some people on other forums I'm posted this on heard that gangs have taken parts of the superdome or New Orleans as their turf. Not sure if its true or not.

Its a :censored:ing warzone in New Orleans. The President would be 100% justified in sending in troopships full of marines to pacify the area.

A helicopter trying to ferry people from a hospital was shot at.

The doctors in the hospital were also shot at.

^Old news, knew about this early evening yesterday. Plus I heard it on the scanner. I fell sorry for them and all but i still think its friggin sweet being able to listen.

Also he's not sending in troopships of marines. Its the national guard, not marines. Don't even think to say they are alike or the same.

Here in a city half way under water people are in need of help and yet others are looting , raping and killing.

When the tsunami hit the koreans didnt loot rape or kill. In my opinion its actually pretty sad that that would happen.

dude just don't post..... As i said in the other thread, you obviously don't know all the facts. There was alot of raping, some looting, and they tried to put extra security on the children to keep them from sexual predators.

BTW last i remembered.... the tsunami happened in indoneisia not korea.

For some reason today, i have no connection to the site and/or the winamp file. I guess the little server has been shut down, prohibiting people from listening. Not sure though, could possibly come back up.

The Tsunami also happened to kill alot more people faster and alot more was destroyed completely and not under water, none the less, there still had to be looting and raping. They are also not the richest of countries and have tons of reporters like America does so we were didn't hear about those kinds of things.

Does any one know why the Gov. Of lousiana didn't have a "Worst case Senario" plan? She has about 8,500 service members to work with (which wasn't enough), why didn't she move them into New Orleans quick enough? Why didn't we federalize those troops of hers? mmm somethings just don't make sence, even when there was a hurricane scare last year.

Gas prices are only rising becuase of the oil companies seeing a profit out of this and they finally have a reason to jack up prices. The Army in Iraq ( and other nations) has plenty of oil, the oil won't be depleted any time soon, but I think you mean we are using the oil which can be used here at home.

Remeber, we got plenty of stuff.

Also, actors and singers have donated millions of dollars, the red cross has so much donated clothes that they had to set up more then one distrabution sites.

Partly true. I live in an area where gasoline prices are much lower. (Cause we drill the stuff, hehe.) The actual price of gasoline is about 2.60. But it is raising at a steady rate.
And probably the reason the army in iraq isn't using much oil is because they're near oil reserves. *hint hint*

My only anger is why officials in new Orleans didn't evacuate new Orleans earlier. They knew that the hurricane was headed in their direction. I remember watching the news about a week ago and the projected course was DIRECTLY on New Orleans. The whole disaster could have been avoided also if people hadn't built a city 20 feet below sea level near the coast.

And Oil is going to last forever here?

Simple Science:
Oil takes millions of years to form from decomposed plants that were around from the age of dinosaurs, and with human living on earth, we may have dirupted new oil from slowly forming. Oil is NOT going to last forever.

50 years may seem like a long time, but what about the future generations?
