Night of the Living Dead!
I havent decided everything yet so please hold!
You have been living in the city for years, grown up with the street gangs, Living your life to its fullest... but when there are rumors of evil murders, the victems are... eaten, The goverment decides to lock the city down and find out whats wrong, At the dead of night the screams are heard over the city, the next day there is only a handfull of survivors running down the road, with a several zombies behind themk, taking cover in a police station they find another survivor, the last army officer in the city.
now its your choice: Where will you hide? What weapon will you choose? its all up to you!
Ok thats the story for the moment and i have been working on the map for days!
Now i have relised that this is WAY over my head so i am looking for help! This is what you can do! I need people to help me finish my map! All credit will be to all that helps! i want to make a team to finish this project!

Well I might be able to help you in the general triggers and also i got some idea's.
Why can't you just do this yourself
... maps take longer then you think to complete. At least a decent one.
I cant do it myself is because school takes up my time! I want this map to break starcraft limits! i relise its going to take awhile but then again, how long did it take for TAG to come out? and look how great it is!
The General Idea is to make the player have 30 seconds of fun and then reliving it again and again! The new idea's i am importing are: You are stuck in a normal city, malls, houses and Mechanical districts! So you choose where you set up defences and where you are going to fight it out!
Ramirez if you want to help you must send me a UNPROTECTED map that i can look at to see if you got the skill, please note you may have to do more then i said! most storyline triggers go into advance triggering! Weapons and ammo are the hardest you will have to do! all you will be doing is swapping weapons around and picking up ammo for each type of gun!
Advance map layout will be doing alot tiles and Doodads to make the city seem more... alive (or dead LoL) So if you want to help brake map making limits! come join in!
Yah... Good luck im not in to this full zombie games on sc. Every one i play all the enemys have 1 health.. and do 9999 and u blam in a corner untell you die ^_^! just dont make it like that!
Well this is different, the zombies have a set health and a set attack! the hiding in a corner is impossible because you will have to venture out and get ammo,supplies and stuff like that!
Please note! the advance trigger person will also be doing switches! some of the stuff you will be doing (dont have to do it but makes it easyer later on) is: Getting power on in select places, getting into certain rooms full of ammo and weapons! and other stuff not to be told

ADDITION:
Ok the map layout is done, the trigger locations are done and the units are in place! There is no point for an advance map layout as i got that covered.
The general trigger person (and advance) will be working together alot to give the player(s) a choice: at the start of game player 1 can choose: Story or Defence
Story: a basic story to make things a little fun this makes you: actully run around, go into the army base and lab (find out whats been going on in a little detail) and get the king of all weapons (Story only) but the downside is that you must find the keys to the best defensive spots!
Defence: This is what the name says! All area's are open and defences are put in place! the players have 1 min to get to there spot then they must hold down and defend for a set time!

your screen shots dont make a real feel of the place you are at. It more looks like random doodads with units placed everywhere. I still think you shouldve gone solo, its not a very huge project.
Lol the army/lab entrance i spent time on but the broken down area might be changed to junkyard or something! When i get the map back i am going to start putting in some more so just wait on it!

Ya the broken up area looks blamty. but sure the story lines ok. There are alot of zombie maps so make this one unique!!!

My General idea is to make a map with you are going to play over and over! When it is finished there should be secrets to uncover and side missions to do!
Ok update on the triggers i made an ammo system.
Each gun has it own sound and with custom ammo and a custom clip,
for example machine gun has 50 bullets with 2 clips
but a pistol has 10 bullets with 4 clips
Also the power of the bullets is different depending on the gun,
for example if u got a pistol it take 5 bullets to kill a zombie, if u got a m4 it
takes 10.
Now im working on the story line and pick ups
Ok ramirez i will go thru this on msn but how about this: Machine gun: 16 bullets with 3 clips and it takes 4 bullets to kill a zombie and it has a 2 second reload. Pistol: 10 bullets with 2 clips and takes 2 hits to kill a zombie and reloads in 0.50 seconds to reload!
All reload sounds should have a reloading sound (i can import later) and they can be different per gun.
have you done the firebat yet? and i was thinking of when you select the medic you also get a weak unit like a zergling that always stays with it (follows around) that can reprasent a knife or something!

ummm, im thinking about removing the medic from character classes...
theres not much use in them and i dont think characters are suppost to heal...
that and i cant make triggers for the medic so it can heal for minerals, well i can but i need some space in the map
