I introduce to you something I've never done with the forums thus far.
I've offically broken up the creative forum into 5 subcategories. The creative forum itself, you can't post in. It's a technique that has been used by some websites, and I'm tryring it here too.
There are just way too many forums on the index. I would like to see if the forums retain their popularity if put into subforums, so maybe we can have "Discussion forum" (contains null, lite, and serious), some mapping forums put together, and so on.
Other things: With the new programming and websites forum, I deleted avertising. I also got rid of file request, as people can do that on the other parts of the forum.
Gimme your opinions and whatever here.
Intresting, I like it. No wait, I love it.
Thanks
The programming and websites forum will rule forever!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got a feeling I may have to combine the music & video forums, but we'll try it out this way for now.
Programing forums... Excellent...
So you gonna change the forum title to Map/Mod making clans?
Or "Hosted Clans"...
I think you should keep Serious Discussion and Null their own seperate thing on the main forum page. If anything maybe put Lite Discussion as a subforum of one of them.
I wonder if it would be better to have creative pulled out from the Other seciton and making it its own. So it isn't so sub catagory intenstive (considering that you can't create threads in the basic Creative thing
I wonder whether it would be possible, when viewing a forum, to see all topics in that forum and its subforums. When you go into a specific forum, it "filters" the other topics out.
That would be good to be added to v5, methinks. I never really liked the way Invision did their subforums anyway.

You're right, I could have done that. And thats what I usually do. However this time, I want to start putting things into subforums so then theres way less clutter on the index. If it fails, fine, I don't do it again.
I'm currently in the process of sorting old topics.
Aren't we lucky
Well, There is a little problem with 2 forum's in that section... They are:
Music & SoundVideos and MoviesThe problem is this... What if the thing I was posting was a video, But it was about music?
And there is a typo here:
Programming & WebsitesAt the top is sais this:

Shameless advertising
In this forum, you are free to advertise your own or other peoples websites, but be prepared for feedback. This forum si NOT for advertising referal sites or sites that benifit only yourself.

I was thinking that too but i was wondering if they were veiwed all in one forum then people might not care to put them in the correct places upon creating topics.
But you wouldn't be able to create new topics in that forum.
Either way, doing that defeats the purpose of having subforums.
Not really, cause people could look at them ither way. Like if you only cared about video then you would look at just that video part. But if you liked reading it how it was then you would look at all the sections at once.
I think this is a great idea.
Maybe all forums can be broken up or something.
The null could have maybe 2 or 3, such as:
Forum Games; Random Discussion; Just trash
I think the games forum is a bit unorganized. Maybe:
Game News; Game discussion; Game techhelp/FAQs;
Meh, I'm just thinking of a good plan now for different forums.. my ideas probably are horrible.
