I dont think it will be much different for the countries who dont use oil but for USA and Japan canada ect... Like will dramatically change unless we start switching to something else..

We run out of oil, we find a new gold. The world only relies on oil, because we've purposely let it rely on oil, instead of the alternatives. And trust me, there are lots and lots of alternatives. We're fine. Most it'll do, is 
up the economy for a few years, that's really about it. And that's IF we don't act a few years prior.

Most of the world is at a stand still with very few reforms happening; sooner or later a country will have a reform minded leader that will put money into research into an alternative energy.
By the way, I think the world will run out of oil in 20 (some optomistic people say 40)

All depends on what you mean by run out of oil really. Technically as long as something lives on the earth there will always be oil (at some point or another). But right now the oil we rely on will be gone in about 20 years. There are however many other sources of oil that we don't use (2 massive ones in North America alone). Although I'm not saying we should switch over to them and pump more CO[sub]2[/sub] into the atmosphere...

You can't just flip a switch and energy sources switch over. Think of all the gas stations that will go out of buisness if people start rapidly buying Hydrogen-powered cars.
They have to ease the amount of cars slowly into the economy...which is what they are doing. Thats why the prices are so high, rich people always get the good stuff first ^.*

The gas stations won't go out of business, they will all convert to the alternative energy. Energy companies are working on ways to deal with a massive switch like that.

Buy really expensive gas, sell for high price (but still with not such a great profit), and only get a few customers.
Buy really, really, cheap, cheap Hydrogen, sell for low price with high profit rate, and wait for the rest of the economy to do the same, at which point you'd have many, many customers.

You can't use cooking oil to fuel cars, car oil is a completely different type of oil.
