I transfered a mp3 into wav but it turned from 3 megs to 30 megs??
Is there a program to mak em smaller is it even possible
i need his song in ma map

If you want a high quality, stick with it. There is also an alternative... Putting your microphone to the speaker while it is playing, it will reduce the size majorly, but the quality will be lowered.

You should never do that...Use the sound recorder program, open the wav, and save it as 8-bit mono.

yeah or either try not using the entire song just a piece that you like, like the chorus or a guitar solo

Or get a direct mic-speaker cord. Perfect recordings. (Good for getting streamed music into files wink.gif )

thats still pretty big 4 a dl though most maps are MAX 1 meg entirely so probably no1 will b able to play ur map without hella lag so id just recommend no sound bleh.gif or really small part of the song 7 secs long

i posted a topic on this....

<Open sound recorder
<Open wav file and go to file: properties
<Click convert now
<Go to 8000 mhz 16 bit mono
<Save

That should get it back to its normal size, or smaller.
