Have you ever heard lines from movies that just made you lose faith in that character altogether? I think its the third Lord of the Rings when Aragorn is speaking about some military tactic, and is describing a diversion. Then Legolas pipes in, the only words he says pretty much in that scene, and what does he say? "A diversion." Yes, that is what happens when you do what Aragorn explained. Now shut up.
Have you heard any lines like that?
Mike Tyson, need I say more?
Hahahaha!
Are you talking about characters stating the obvious?
I see 3 ships, 3 captains, 3 mission. I do not see chance, I see providence. This is not fate, I do not believe in fate. Morpheus as he becomes a hipocrit.
Nobody's perfect, including writers.
Or audiences, for that matter.
Eh, I probobly have but i wouldnt remember
i think he said that so that everyone can understand what aragorn just said.
Yea, hes right. Its for the idiots.
If people can't figure out from what Aragorn is saying that he's creating a diversion, I highly doubt pretty boy in the corner is going to help any.
It's not really a line, but I was so disgusted when I witnessed the worst ending ever (Monty Python's Holy Grail). I was like "nooo, wtf!" while laughing because it was so dumb (the ending that is).
Hey man, some people aren't paying attention and need a summary of the scene in one sentence. o_O
It's "the worst ending ever." I'm not explaining it to you because you have to experience it.

Why not? If he says "diversion", who isn't going to understand that? Also, people might zone out a little while watching, so his one-word summary would help.
