This is my first attempt on the interior of a boat for my RPG. Tell me what you guys think, if you don't like it I'll try to improve on it so give me ideas, not criticism.

Knowing what kind of boat it's supposed to be would help..

It's just.. a boat..

Think of those pirate boats.

Well, I'd suggest something besides dirt for the deck, unless you can manipulate the tiles to give the appearance of planks. I think stairs would be more appropriate than ramps on the inside. Also, see if you can make the forward deck/bow into more of a pointed shape with curved edges. Ships generally don't have triangular front ends.

Doesn't really look like a boat...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sniper on 2005-09-15 at 21:28:29
I'm just gonna admit it sucks. I'll try to curve it up a bit and make it LOOK like a boat. The dirt ramp doesn't look good but the temple stairs don't work well either.

Well it doesnt really give a boat feeling, seems like a cliff sad.gif

Actualy its the bow, the stern is the back. Just to correct you.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mp)PeazeL on 2005-10-01 at 11:32:56
ohmy.gif So the stern is end and the bow in the front. Hey sniper maybe rotate the ship 90 degree's and you might have a better looking ship if you work on it.

Try making it in either Badlands, or Ice.

Use the bridges instead, no dirt.

Perhaps use a single dirt tile that looks more wooden. If you use your imagination it looks like a boat. I like the temple thing that's like going down for the boat I can see it, but you've really gotta use your imagination for it, nice effort.
