1) Here is a piece I created on Depression RPG/ Crescent Dyne RPG. Please rate blending perfection as shown. Thankyou.

2) This is a 2 part ramp complex that uses highly customized tiles on the mideast part. This is also from my DRPG/ CDRPG. Please rate this and just remember to label which one you are rating. Thanks for this one too. I will continue to add to this one post, so, to save space on this thread, please just reedit your last post as this thread continues. Please conserve space for more people to see in this thread! Thankyou!

3) This piece is a blend of 2stage cliff with a sort of underground tunnel which blends into all dirt. A very fancy end piece I would say. One of Wilhelm's favorites. Please rate also.

4) This piece is in the new Crescent Dyne RPG map and one of the first creations as you exit the first town. This combines unique ramps, special cliff/ramp blending, grass blends, and other hole/part/connectors all in one!

5) The bottom and top of the west ramp complex using multipul custom blends, I personally like the layout of these ramp complexcies I created.

Responce To Wilhelm's Post : I am currently going to take screen shots of some of the better pieces now, give me about 15 minutes. :P (Remember not to repost, just edit your last post) I will be uploading tons and tons of pictures of blended pieces.

Responce To Syphon's Post : Impossable drawings? Uh... ok? Oo Don't know what thats supposed to mean with these two pieces I have entered. Please explain better? (Please just reedit your original post instead of posting over and over) Thanks.

The jpeg format smudges them quite a bit. They look better in the actual map, but anyways, these aren't even the most impressive pieces (I find them among some of the blandest in your map). 6.5/10, more form then function, and not much of a wow factor. As for the third, 8/10, has a very, very nice temple feel to it.

Agreed. But even in the best pieces all of your terrain has problems with spacial sense. Some even look like impossible drawings.

Won't let me post this many pictures in one enter. sad.gif

6) East ramp complex. Rate it! This took around an hour or two to perfect the blends. The top ramp isn't perfect when it comes out, but I did use dirttop blending to round it.

7) North jungle area with my own grass blended custom bottoms. Enjoy! And please rate the jungle setup, however non, "wow"ish it might be compared to some of the others.

8) Large ramp to 2nd city in the first contenent. Check out the blending with the eastern side going into the ocean. Looks very well blended in-game.

9) This is the 75% done piece Im working on which is southeast first contenent. Still in production because I wanted to improove the space for monster fights in mideast region.

Heh, although you've shown me most of them before I still think they are pretty good. It almost wants me to get back into terraining, but then I would want to get back into map making and nelect my school work.

And the purple screen shot, I think there might be a way to accomplish what your trying to do with out any blocks. But I dunno, its been a while since I've even picked up an editor.

10/10 for all peices, althought some parts are blocky, it doesnt matter, its how it looks to the player.

Dang... I thought it was some incredible technique with sprites or something... pinch.gif

I especially like 2 and 3... 3 is functional, and the effect of 3 is AWESOME. It really looks like a staircase going underground.

Overall: 9.5/10

Thanks for the rating and hall of fame question... i don't like the part where u said some parts are blocky... I built each one of these apon the soul perpose to remove 100% sprite usage to cover blockyness. I think it is just that horrable jpeg quality at its best... lol, w/e thx for the rating guys!

I would love to have a few if not most of these in the hall of fame! :P
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Valug on 2005-09-19 at 19:22:48
[sub]There is zero blockyness in your work, if any is seen on here, its the picture quailty. Of course once you do terrian enough, you starting seeing each tile seperate and everything looks kinda blocky, or mabey thats just me. :/[/sub]
