[center]Clan Logo Contest[/center]
I was looking at our clan logo and realised it was created by T-virus. It's not bad, but it's getting old. So, I'm going to be hosting a small logo contest. You will be submitting a logo and an icon to me for Clan Mp's forum. This contest is open to all SEN Members. The entry fee is 5 minerals.
The logo must follow these strict guidelines:
- Maximum size : 8kb
- Maximum Dimensions : 100 x 35(pixels)
- Format : .gif
The icon must also follow a set of guidelines:
- Maxium size : 4kb
- Maximum Dimensions : 32x32(pixels)
- Format : .gif
Both the icon and the logo must include the word "Mp)" somewhere noticeable.
To enter, you must submit both a logo and an icon(for matching purposes). The winning icon/logo will be put onto our Clan Mp button. There will also be moderate mineral prizes:
1st place : 150 Minerals + 3/8 Pot
2nd place : 100 Minerals + 2/8 Pot
3rd place : 50 Minerals + 1/8 Pot
The remaining 2/8 of the pot will be equally distrubted among contestants as a consellation prize.
The top few logos(not icons) will also be displayed as a pinned topic on our forums.
Since this is a small contest, the due date will be Sept. 28th, 2005. Next Wednesday.
You may enter more than once, but you can only recieve one mineral prize(eg you can't get both 1st and 2nd place) and you will have to pay another 5 minerals to enter your second submittion.
If you wish to enter send a PM to me with your entry fee. When you have completed your logo/icon, PM me again with the 2 .gif files.

We want to host this contest. We can live without a new logo but I thought this would be somewhat fun for the creative people.

id give it a shot but if you want some nice text and decent colors ur gunna need more than freaken 8kb seriously maybe a border or something but it might take a little more

The minerals get split equally between people so you get your money back eventually. Five minerals is not a lot. Your logo is supposed to be .gif, maybe that'll make the size smaller?

I'm not entering, .gif will lose some colors, 8kb is too small, 50-150 minernals is not enough, 4kb for icon is also small, pay and donate?, 100 x 35 is too small for a logo.
