[center]There seems to be a running trend of making waterfalls, but nearly all of them have been made on the Jungle tileset. I challenge someone to make one with the Ice tileset. A frozen-waterfall![/center]

any woot, back to the topic, i've been trying to make an icefall over the last few weeks and it sucked. it's nothing like jungle ill tell you that. im going to try though.

i find it to be nearly impossible without blockyness, and lots of it. twlight is close but no cigar. its impossible in ice land i think. i've tried and got no where

Well the Ice Tileset only has one 'group' of tiles that touches water, and that's dirt, unlike in Jungle where High Dirt touches as well. For High Dirt on the Ice Tileset you have to blend into snow first, then a snowy cliff, then high snow, then high dirt. Otherwise it'll look really blocky.

i used hella lot of sprites there, and it took me 3 days to get then cliff right but tell me what you think, im working on a better one as im posting this.

That isn't good enough. That looks like crap, way too many sprites and without them it would look like a rectangle. I think he is looking for a FROZEN one anyhow.. that's...a liquid, not a solid :0

... oly ur water fall and frozen river is good all other are very badly done and have 0 effort put in them.... fix it and it will be good

Both of those look great! The only thing I don't like about Dark-Marine's is the tree sprites at the end of the river (where the water starts falling)...

Take those trees out and blend them to the frozen waterfall, and put a frozen pool/lake at the bottom to make it actually look like a waterfall. I wouldn't want it to just look like a slope.
