In the god menu in my zergling blood dragon edition map, i made a trigger similar to the one used in zergling blood /w god.
Trigger
Players:
¤ 5
Conditions:
¤ '
¤ 'All Players' bring exactly '0' 'defensive ghost' to location 'G Defensive Ghost'
Actions:
¤ Create '1' 'defensive ghost' at 'g defensive ghost' for 'player 5'
¤ Preserve Trigger

And if the god mode is on, the units then get given to the god. (i have hyper triggers, so its fast)

For some reason, at the beginning of the game the 'Unit Unplaceable: Defensive Ghost' message in yellow appears..

Some more info: The defensive ghost is positioned near bottom left corner, as is the location. I already moved expanded the location by approximately 6 spaces to stop it, but it didnt stop. I use X-tra editor, so i dont think im not allowed to put units there.

Any suggestions?

Location size doesn't matter, what matters is the validity of the terrain at the center of the location. E.g., if you put a gigantic location that covers the entire map, but put bad terrain (e.g. water) in the very center, they still can't be created.

you didnt place it off the map right? because i think on the bottom corner you have to bring it up a grid square so it can be placed

Well Staredit doesn't take into account the lower corners of the map that is removed to make space for the game menu. If you placed it that close to the edge that terrain may not exist there.

But make sure the center of the locaiton is clear too as PCFredZ said.

Its not very close to the edge.. the farthest ends of location are 1 inch away from edge of map on bottom and about 1.3 from left side..
The ghost is there too, but as i said it was placeable in X-tra, which means it was probably placeable in staredit, which means its supposed to be valid.

Then it is probolly just an invalid place try posting the map.

If you really want to be sure about the ghost being on valid terrain/area then place it using the original editor. You should not have any problems if it works in the original. (Assuming you were placing it on X-tra's Special Mode)

Its too close to the lower corner. The lower menu on the left side goes up like 2 or 3 tiles from the bottom and staredit DOES NOT notice it as being invalid.

You will have to move it futher in, move all the rest i guess if you want to keep your pretty formation.

PS. the Map location isn't needed use the location Anywhere

The pretty formation isnt everything..
And yah, as this is my first map that i actually expect to be very successful, its the one i learned most at..
The MAP location was a mistake, and made everything blue in editor.
Thanks for your help
