Ok, I got bored, looked around on the hall of fame, saw all these nice terrains, and decided i must get a spot up there =D, so i was thinking of making an rpg and decided to work on a portion of the map, and ended up making something i think was pretty nice . It has a waterfall, customed ramp, ocean shore and stuff. lol just go look at it =/

Oh btw, this is my 2nd terrain w.e u call it ive ever made. well in actualyl first since the other one was mainly sprites =/.

Very blocky.
Too many sprites.

The reason this might look not blocky to untrained eyes, is the fact he made the bridges wide enough to take up considerable space, which takes your attention away from all of the turns and transitions between dirt,grass,bridge, and water... The beach is sort of nice... but isn't worth more then 3/10, and I do realized this is your first terrain. Keep doing more terrain! You should realize, SC terrain, DOES have maximum blending capability, not everything is possable...

You should stop relying on sprites to cover blends. GJ on your second piece though, keep reducing sprite count!

I think it's rather good, the problem is the sprites don't stay around like nuclearrabbit said.

Thanks =D, ya i know some of the sprites won't show up in the game but i was planning to use this map in a mod, i can easily create sprites to match the enviroment, , use to be a spriter.

iIt looks awesome, but it's fairly useless otherwise. Maybe if you made a larger version, you could use psi aura sprites, and hallucination deaths, maybe...

If you create a mod simpley for ambience every terrainer that ever lived will want it.

I like it. A lot. Too bad the pylon auras would spread into the bridge terrain in-game.

Actually, that's the sprite for stasis fields (which would dissappear after the first run through).

Oh hmm, sorta get what u mean unless your talking about custom ones, i think i can make a mod so that, you can actualyl see some of the sprites that would usualy crash sc, might take me awhile since i gota get broodwar again.

Wtf is wrong wioth you, at most 2/10 its ALL sprites, and those cannon sprotes will crash game. Sorry, but it sucks.

Cannon sprites? Wtf is wrong with you? There are no cannon sprites, my friend. Atleast learn your sprites before you go bashing someone's work. He said it wouldn't work in game, anyways.

The mod idea would rock my world.

I've been trying to make a scene like that for quite some time. (One of the things I wanted to see in the Swamp challenge was fog, which looks like what you've accomplished to me.)
The terrain itself needs slight touchups, but for sprite placement, I'd give it a OMG!!/10.

idk i dont care for it. if you look closely you notice blockiness. its not too much terrain work, its kinda repetative and there are a lot of sprites.
