It is not possible to detect when a unit fires. The only thing I can think of is a computer might change alliance status if you attack it in some circumstance.

i see, there isnt anyway to create somthing like... if unit has 75 percent health then play sound.... or... i dont know, somthing like that.

all i want to do is to have it play sound for everytime the unit takes damage, instead of one hit kills. But i guesss theres JUST no way...?

Sorry about posting in the wrong place, i COULDNT find this ums section until i opened this moved post and saw the direction at the top. i think.

There's currently no reliable method that has been thought of of doing what you want to do.

You can't detect unit hp, nor when a unit takes damage.

If you want to get high-level information on what you might do if you really want to get into it, try looking at virtual hp or more complex "ammo systems"

umm, its impossible to detect when a unit is attacking, but, if u really want to, u could make a mod, changing ur units attack sound - something like this

EUD conditions can detect the HP of a unit if you know its LocalID but if you want it so when any unit is attacked... don't think you can do that.

the only way you could do that is with an HP system..which would be something like a burrowed unit under the enemy you would have to hyper it to stay under then when you attack it automaticly attacks the burrowed unit, then you do the play sound...and then you attack the main enemy.

then is you run away though, it will keep playing the sound over and over.
