This is for me and for all those other rpg makers who want to make an uber rpg with lots of spells..
I advise not copying the ideas from here exactly but making it more original.
Ill start with my good ones: % is easy trigger, $ is hard trigger, and # is medium.
Warp to allies%
Create 2 hallucinations%
Create a tank, when it sieges or unsieges something happen(invulnerability here)#
Create mines.%
Create scarabs.% (does it work?)
Healing.%
And for my grand finale, my personal favorite spell which people would find useful,
Bring the civ to the spell beacon, a dropship/shuttle/overlord (with transport) appears above your character.
The dropship dies after some time, and whereever the dropship unloads a unit a location centers on that unit and something happens.
Not Tested, but i think its possible. Im working on it.$
Oh, and these easy/hard/medium ratings are not for the professionals, all are easy for professionals.
I need a few more ideas, and these arejust the more interesting spells.
umm ur favorite would work. lol it's easy ill tell u that.
but ne way, try useing like money in shops and stuff that'd be cool
and have like a summon system where u can summon creatures
Use the dropship system.
Set enemy players to P12 to "stun" them.
Stun huh..
Really nice idea!
Thanks.
Heres a few more:
Distruption web:
Player brings civ to spell beacon, run ai script at location (distruption web), move distruption web to location where the hero is on.#
Destruction web:
Player brings civ to spell beacon, create 3 science vessels at hero location, destroy 3 science vessels are hero location, set life % of all enemy units in the area to 1%-100% #
Flame Shield:
Player brings civ to spell beacon, set switch fireshieldp1on.Wait 15000.Clear switch fireshieldp1on.
and also on same spell
Switch fireshieldp1on is set, enemy brings at least one enemy to hero location, create 1 science vessel, destroy one science vessel, either kill or set hp to a certain percent.#
Inaccurate.
Life would not carry over from unit to unit unless i use extreme amount of triggers.
Plus its not original.
The again, most rpg with spells had bugs

New one: Mage Slayer
Set energy % to 0 on all units around the hero %
Nothing difficult or special, and wont be used in my rpg unless i make tons of spells.

How about a teleport system..
You get an Observer or something that has a location following it and you can warp to the observer... Youd have to make it so that the observer couldnt be very far away though...
Teleport would be helpful for getting up ledges and stuff... dont cha think?
ADDITION:
You could also make a system where you have a move called
Earth Shaker
everything in a 20 x 20 radius from the player gets 1/2 Health and is stunned for 2 seconds
( higher level spell )
I already made an accurate teleport system in my first post..
And im looking not for specific spells, but for spell systems, how the spells can be shown and executed in game, etc.

always
MoveLocation .... SpecialSpell42... Hero.. Currentplayer
---
bring currentplayer exactly 1 (* spell activation unit) Beacon
set Hp, Enemies, SpecialSpell42 50%
Giveunitsat(all, enemy controlled, p12)
wait 5 seconds
Give them back...
hows that?
In respones to your dropship idea...it won't really work because if the dropship dies while your in it...so do you. Also, you can't just replace them where they die because what if the dropship is above water? So maybe you could have to where you have a location that is air only and if your hero is in that location then it won't kill it yet. Then once you unload your unit the dropship would die.
Maybe some sort of spell that dealt damage according to how much HP you had (a la EUD conditions)?
Sadly i dont no eud..

Lol.
Im quite fluent with triggers...
Its not ure hero gets into the dropship
Its when the dropship unloads a loaded marine inside, a location centers at the marine and teleports your hero to the location..
And about the dropship dying, either make it invincible, or make it so that if its destroyed its because the enemy nulled your spell.
Thats realistic in a spell battle.
This is why im making all my spell unit vulnerable

For mp, use it as gas and after a spell is used, make it regain back to 100 (being full percent) 1 every second.
dont know if its original but it would work.
Not original, but yah, thats the most common Mana Power system in rpgs.
Im using similar one, but its 500 max and 1 gas in 3 seconds.
My idea for a spell is something you could call hell raiser or something, basically it is 20 lurkers spawned under your character and they attack only your character so you control where the spikes go, once the spell is activated your guy's shields are 100 percent the whole time so you don't die, also if you go too far away from the lurks (so they would unburrow) you are teleported back to where you cast the spell.
I made a map and tested this out and it looks pretty cool, I didn't add all the features that you could in an actual RPG though, such as cast anywhere or the out of lurker range teleport.
This has probably been done already but I was just bored and felt like makin a spell

Dropship rocket transport%
1. Center location on Your unit
2. Create Dropship at that location
3. Load it
4. change Dropship to A player Thats Your Ally And Vision
5. Move To Location Set
6. Change Dropship to Your Player Again
7. Unload
8. Remove Dropship

ADVANTAGES:
1. This Is Like Your in a transport (Realistic)
2. This Can Also Be Done By noobs (Good)
Disadvantages:
1. Is NOT Instant (SLOW)
Tips:
1. You Can Make It More Realistic By NOT Making It Invincible:
You Can Get Shot Down And Lose
the dark one, its a very cool idea, also makes hero invulnerable, but the bad thing is that the heroes hp (unless its protoss) dont go back down to what they were before.
Fastzerg, i dont understand u
Fastzerg, I think he means actual spells not technology.

nice idea, ima use it in Stranded RPG 2, ull get credit, congrats, PM me with how u want ur name displayed
If one of the characters is a zealot, zergling, or anything with speed upgrades then you could have a haste spell that when used you get the required min or gas for the upgrade, or you could temporarily make them the hero version (i forgot if that is faster or not

)
or you could make a self hit move, when when used it takes like 75% of your guys hp and kills all the mosters in the battle field (but not bosses

).
You can't just take 75% hp because if you are really low on hitpoints it could end up healing you.
True..
But otherwise, nice idea Sachiel.
Hows about a scouting spell?
Spawn observers for a player wich has vision with you, and make them fly around randomly.
Kind of a boring idea.
Sorry to ruin the spirit, but that one is not at all original, and kind of pointless.
well to add to my idea (lurker one) have a cloaked unit of a NPC (enemies with the lurks of course) created in your spot and set it to roam and have it so all enemy units in the lurks radius are ordered to move to the center
