I feel I understand most areas of basic modding, but I'm having trouble with giving non-attacking units attacks. This stuf is covered in other topics, I KNOW, but I need help with original ICE.
I just need an in-depth walkthrough of how to copy/create attacks for passive units. I've been successful with basic stuff like giving the Dark Archon a defensive shockwave that looks like EMP, what about 'interracial' attacks? I'm just looking for a tutorial on more advanced attack editing in ICE. If this is redundant (I apologize if it is), please redirect me. THANKS

I haven't seen ant tutorials around for ICE, I'm afraid, and I'm no good with it myself. I advise you just play around with it, making mini trial mods to see what does what etc. You could also try asking at starcraft.org or warboards. BSTRhino is usually around to help with modding issues.

Sovereign Modding Empire had some ICE tuts IIRC, but they're down for a good few days already......:/

I tried the big bible, i dont think its finished. Not all links are up, and the one about Ice that was up didnt help much with the problem Tassadar had.

why are you using ICE, its rather badly made... use IceCC.

Because all people can't use IceCC, if you can, you're lucky, cause i don't understnad anything of IceCC, after making 2 tuts of it... and i can't read the manual... so he have a reason for not using IceCC, do you really want to know why he don't use IceCC ? I think no, and i think you was just free-posting.
