I was fairly disappointed about War of the Worlds (especially since it was by Steven Spielsburg). But there were a few things that I thought would've made it better
- Show some REAL fight scenes. Like show actual conflict between our armies and those aliens, not just a brief clip of our tanks and stuff shooting at something we can't see. Cmon, this is "war" of the worlds. We want to see some Fighting!
- Keep the boy dead. The ending was just retarded how the boy just suddenly appears, runs up to his dad and says "Hi dad!" Although it makes it a happier ending, it's still retarded. He was better off dead.
- Make that Girl (nicole fanning) SHUT THE
UP! OMFG she was annoying as hell. But I have to admnit that was good acting...

That girl was annoying and that teenager w/e his name was i would of left his srry . How the hell did that whole freaking family survive sitting inside there house chillen like nothings going on its like wtf? Kill the step dad atleast 
1. I do agree they needed to add more fight scenes i mean the old ver is like from 1960 had better battle scenes lol.
2.Needed to show more then that freaking cracker Tom Cruise cause there like all of europe is wiped out and stuff "We dont want to hear it, we want to see it"

i read the book but the movie sucked.
More fight scenes (like said) before, during the intire movie there wasnt really any fights going on... expect the tanks shooting then suddenly retreating... it was really disapointing

For the love of God it was too loud.
The blood looked EXACTLY like orange koolaid.

It did kind of explain the virus. It was for like a few seconds right before the movie ended. But they didn't explain it very clearly though i gues.

Ok I saw the movie and was dissapointed. The part where Tom Cruise is about to leave the tunnel and the robots makes that loud noise, and then Tom tells the guy to look at the birds. I could not get the part when the military guy yells something after he sees the birds. I had to ask my friend how it ended because all I saw was birds land and they shoot rockets at the robot and it dies. And yeah, the ending was so stupid, the guy just magically appears at their moms house. I thought it was the end of him when he went to see the humvees getting burnt.

That;s because the birds were able to get close enough to the robot without harm i think. Normally if the robots were at full condition, they would have protective shields, not allowing anything to get near them (demonstrated when tom cruise thr ew grenade at it). Seeing how the birds were able to get close enough, the soldiers figured it was their chance to blast those guys since they assumed their shields were down.
That's just my guess, but yea read the book

The virus is what caused the shields to go down, then the people noticed the shields were down due to bird flight.

i thoguht it was bacteria that killed them. the movies said something about bacteria and how we have built up an ammune system to our own, but the aliens didn't, so the bacteria killed them.

Some elements of war of the worlds were stupid but i did like some. like how people became crazy and only cared about themselves.

2. what was with the farming that the aliens had going on?
3. more humans should of died.
4. why didnt bullets hit the tripods? they said only the missiles blow up before impact.
5. tom cruises luck is freaking good. especially when the first tripod came up.
6. the boy should of got vaporized.
7. there should of been some alien infantry to human conflict
8. where the hell were our nukes?

i didnt like the movie at all...when i was watching it it was atleast an 1 hour into the movie i just left and went to watch starwars episode 3 for like the 10th time NOW THERE IS A MOVIE STARWARS EPISODE III REVENGE OF THE SITH I RECOMMEND IT MUCH LOTS
