I think what the bot does is it does a /stats and a /whois or something and if someone else speaks while it is doing that, it will display whatever the other person said instead of what Bnet returned.

The bot that does this runs an equivalent of a /whois. This is a raw typed channel command. Meanwhile, this other wonderful friend's bot is flooding the channel, interrupting the /whois.

Couldn't we just use a bot that nobody knows the name of and put it in an empty channel, like op aasjfhksdjh on the account of the same name? Seems like that might deal with the whole whois thing.
