I've been trying to make a good extended terrain piece for a while now and this is what I came up with, my first extended terrain. Plz rate and give advice not critisim.
Icefallthat way to blocky dude work on it some more take time into it
Nice try.
Take sometime to make the pieces match and look smooth instead of randomly placing tiles.
nice job... just work on the terrain blending as told before... making the tiles match is pretty hard but sometimes all you need is two or three tiles that repeat over a sequence..
for instance .. with bridges in the jungle you only need to use like 3 of the tiles to make a repeating bridge that looks great...
try experimenting more

yea blending only thing on this...when u get blending right on this it'll look awsome

I believe it had been said that this was blocky about 5 times in a row, the first few actually has some input to help, saying only "too blocky" states nothing i dont know and doesn't help at all.
Put in some more effort. Remember, extended must be as smooth-looking as isometrical, or damn close.
Much to blocky, although the ice at the top was a good idea it is of poor quality. Try blended the cliff better, but not much more can be done for the icefall itself.
I think I stumpped the whole terraining community. Noone has yet come up with a low blockyness icefall.
Despite the blockiness in various places, its a very creative idea. Doesn't look too bad, anyways. Good luck trying to find appropriate tiles -_-
On a side note, the middle right seems to be the worst. It automatically switches from snow to cliff... bad transision. Any way you can fix it?
