ok...i want a unit 2 act like a building. The unit is owned by a human player. I want the unit 2 not move but able to attack, like a cannon. Possible?
Things I dont want:
Units surrounding the unit
Terrains surrounding the unit
Computer unit
I'm not sure if this would work, but have it so that if the unit leaves a location, it is teleported back to the desired area, then have a strategic/random suicide mission ai trigger.
the unit will b randomly placed, i dont want a location 4 every unit
Wait, so will the unit be randomly placed on the map? or among locations?
its like a defense, whenever some1 want to build a tower it will make a marine but the marine will keep moving.
I'm not quite understanding you, didn't you want the marine not to move?

yes i want the marine 2 not move.
isnt there a method somewhat like the 2x speed thing that freezes all units placed before it? maybe you could do that because i think they still attack just not move.
try disableing them and giving them to a netural player who doesnt attack
You can constantly move (teleport) all of those kinds of units to a place where they cannot walk to (water, cliff side, building in way).
Hypers would be essential.
They will be able to attack but not move.

Either do this or disable doodad state on tanks. (they wiggle around and attack but don't move)
couldn't you just make it so that the marine holds position?
