I protected my map to test it , closed starforge, then came back the next day and tried to continue working on it but it wouldn't let me back in... Any way I can get back in?

[center]Don't people know protection is basically irreversible?
There are way to unprotect maps, but I don't think we're allowed to discuss them here.

Erm... your second sentence negated the first one.

Meaning, protection is reversible, only if you know how to do it.

[center]Note the word 'basically'
If you have skill with a hex editor, you could probably unprotect the map if you know what you're doing.

You don't really have to know what you're doing because there are guides out there for desperate people, but naturally we shouldn't discuss where those guides may be found.

Best find someone you trust on SEN who may be able to help you and ask them. I would guess that Heimdal would get sick of people PMing and e-mailing him to unprotect their maps.

However; remember that StarForge 2.2 creates back-ups automatically, you should have a recent back-up if you used a recent version of StarForge; that would be easiest.
