Hey, whats up >< ok so im making my RPG and such and i cant seem to get a few triggers right...

First, how exactly do u move a location to a player's unit? i tried but failed, my set up is like this :

Player 1

Condition: Always

Action: Center location z1 over lurker owned by player 1 , preserver trigger.

All i get from this is the location centering to the middle of the map (argh) what am i doing wrong?

Secondly, im trying to make it so that every time a player kills a drone (or any other unit) they get rewarded minerals and exp. for this trigger i got:

Player 'force 1'

Conditions : current player kills at least 1 drone

Action : set kill score to 1, preserve trigger



Player 'force 1'

Conditions : current player kills score is at least 1

Actions : set kill score to zero , give 10 minerals to current player , preserve trigger.


And last but not least, is there a way to make enemy drones attack you? the just sit there when i test my map...

for the move location thing, make sure you specify the correct place that its located even if its 'Anywhere'. If it can't find the unit where you told the trigger it would be at, it moves to the middle instead. Here is an answer to your second question:

1. There is no Lurker owned by player 1 at the location specifed. Make sure the conditions are what you need.

3. While under an AI script, workers may attack enemy units they deem not be a threat. It is a real pain to make computer workers attack.

ARGH!!!! i fixed the other 2 problems but i just cant get the move location thingy right ftw!!!

i got it set up like

Player 1

Conditions: always

Action: center location titled z1 to hunter killer owned by current player at anywhere.


Anyone point out what im doing wrong!?

Make sure Player 1 owns a Hunter Killer?

I don't understand what the problem is...

Like, listen player 1 has the hunter killer and its on the map, but the location wont center to him, i have it so that a few seconds later, an observer gets created at location z1 (which is the one thats suppose to center) but when the observer is made, it is in the middle of the map ><

You forgot a preserve trigger?

Perhaps attach the map next time. There are many outside influences that could have affected the movement of the location.

U said 'current player'
Make sure its player1.
Other hunter killers can mess up the trigger.
Oh, and add preserve trigger.

current player shouldnt affect anything. just make sure that you arent getting the hydra and hunter killer mixed up.

i got it to work x.x thanks all for trying to help but i found the solution on my own (gG) happy.gif so now i must go edit my map more and maybe finish it by the end of the month.
