i dont think you can contorl it, unless your tlaking about like moving it like

then it might work...just try with it


but you cant controll a mine to make it move like you can with a marine

This is just my hypothesis, didn't look at the triggers yet.

Spidermines move when units are nearby. So, I would think when a spidermine is sitting, a cloaked unit is moved to the next light square, causing the mine to "attack to the square". When the mine gets any closer, I'd think the unit gets moved to the next square, causing the mine to move again in a continuous loop.

I mean I need the mine to be like an actual unit. I was select it, click a spot, and it will go there. And I can repeat that process as many times as I want.

Well most of us here don't think its possible. Like you can't control larva, intercepters and scarabs. So why would you be able to control the spider mine. The only way i can think of is the way Snipe suggested.

If you can find the map or a replay to prove it, we will believe you. Otherwise it was either:
A) Misunderstanding.
B) You saw EUDs change the graphics of a unit (which no longer works).

I'm sure all the experienced mappers support the fact that it is not possible without modding.

Dude its possible to manually control a spidermine which you need a program for. To put in map. People dont need the program to join your game / control Spider mine.

This is very much possible man.... Lol. Just Constantly create and remove a unit at an observer. Then the spider mine will follow the observer. The observer is what u control. And the spider mine will move under it.
