ok im still making that map that everyone knows.
but im stuck.
i have 2 sets of hyper triggers for P7 and it makes all others triggers fast for everyone. but when i play it by myself it works fine, but when i play with like 2 or more people, it keeps messing up. it even makes level one repeat even though when i play by my self it doesnt repeat.
so how many hyper triggers do i have to add when there is 2 - 4 people without screwing up?
1 player = 2 hyper triggers.
2 players = 3 hyper triggers.
3 - 4 players = how many do i have to add?
is there a big diffrence between these triggers when hyper triggers are added?
CountdownTimer(Exactly, 0);
CountdownTimer(AtMost, 0);
is there any way that the hyper trigger wont repeat the level when playing multiplayer?
None..remove all the hyper triggers, put 4 in p8.
I don't think it has anything to do with hypertriggers. Don't give your level triggers to a force, it makes them fire once per each player.

its not on a force. its on either player 5 or 6.
since i have to put all the odd number levels on player 5 so that the waits wont get tangled up for the next level. thats why i even put all the even number levels to player 6.
I doubt that it's a problem with the hypertriggers; it's more likely to be your other triggers, especially any that are checked for multiple players or for a force.
Check that you don't have triggers that are only supposed to run once, but are running multiple times because multiple players are running them.
If the map isn't dependent on hypertriggers, try removing them and testing the map to see if the problems are still there (I think they will be) to find out whether or not the problem actually is with the HTs.
Yeah, man. It's probably problems with other triggers....
But either stick your hypers in player 7 or 8...
If you look at my bound, Aura. I have one player (7) who has all my hypers in it..... And then another player (8) who has all my level triggers...
Do you have your triggers set like that?
mostly like that.
i did it once without hyper triggers and it completly destroyed the meaning of the game. it went so slow.
Did you take the hypers out, and move them around onto differnt players?
And make a backup of the map just in case. Lol. It saves your life, sometimes.
Okay all you have to do is give the hyper triggers to a player 1-8 or a Force that DOES NOT have waits in any other trigger atributed to that player. (All Players does not work) I.E. Player 8 has triggers with no waits then you can give the hyper triggers to him. Player 1 has triggers with waits...you can NOT give the hyper triggers to him.
That's a good point.... But if you're having problems with waits and whatnot, you should probably organize all your triggers so that SetSwitches are in a player, and the triggers that execute visable things are also in that player... Then things like hypers all on their own, or with a player that has like, a banner.
If that even makes sence

Hypertriggers are not affected by the number of player slots filled, however. I don't think that the problem would be with the hypertriggers.
It most likely is.
Hypers cause a lot of problems if you put them in the wrong spot.
i did that stuff but i dont think it would work?
i put hypers on diffrent spots from 5-8 and still happens the same.
every level works except the first when there is more than 2 people and always repeats the level for some odd reason.
i even dont share locations with players 1-4 because i know it would tangle up.
whats weird also... last time i checked that p3 marine bunker trigger thing goes faster than p1 and p2 and p3 trigger.
yes i use swiches and countdowntimer.
yall can fiddle around with the map. ive commented everything so yall dont get confused.

i think dtb knows what he is talking about more than you do. But you are right, hypers do cause lots of problems if they aren't in the right spot, but if he has moved the hypers around to every single player then they might not be the problem

I forgot to mention that the player owning the hyper triggers MUST ALWAYS BE IN THE GAME. So i am assuming that player 8 is the computer

oops

all the players are in the game 5-8

Okay so are you giving ALL hyper triggers to one of those players and does that same player have NO waits in their other triggers?

Here i went ahead and fixed it for you. It works fine now...or at least i think it does...it looks like its working to me

This part has nothing to do with the hyper triggers
Nice job if you got it, Veri

I didn't see it, then again, maybe it was 'cause I was a little tired.
i dont know what you did but i only saw that you put 5 hyper triggers in P8.
i played the map with multiplayer and level 1-8 didnt come out at all.
there were to many hyper triggers that it completly skipped the waits.
thanks for trying.
now lets see if pausing and unpausing the timer might work.

you can't skip the waits. your triggs are messed up and its not the hyper triggers
no it actually works for single player if i play P1,2,3,4 by my self.
but then if i play with another person then it repeats level 1 again but not the other levels.

Try it now? you had clear switch 1 and set switch 2 like 5 times at the end of level 1 which i believe kept it going when hypers worked. Also you had unneccessary wait right before the comment that would do...nothing. So i dunno if this will work or not..i can't really test with other people at the moment.
i got an error.
wont open up.
