I don't know why it won't work. It just can't find the site or anything. Its up everywhere else I check (I even have had friends check it), but my computer can't find it. I don't think its a security issue or anything, because its not telling me it can't load the page because of anything, its just saying it can't find it... cry.gif

I also experienced this problem, till Mike sorted it out for me, something about removing some sort of cache.

Here's how you get past it:

Get into command prompt. Heres the 2 ways:

QUOTE
If your using windows 200, xp or whatever:
Start > Run > type "cmd"

Anything else:
Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

Then type "ipconfig /flushdns". Restart your computer then everything should work. This shouldn't screw up your computer in anyway.

I have had a bunch of problems with virii recently. I've gotten rid of most of them, but there's a few left that I can't do much about for now. (til I get to the admin)

I'll try that when I get home.

What OS are you running
If Win2000, go to the:
"My Computer (Icon)" [Right Click] > Manage > "Disk Defragmentor > Analysis > Deframent

That should allow you to defragment.

On early, i think it was on the Control Panal and Scheduled Tasks, and you just set to do now, or set to whenever you wish.

I believe it is XP Professional, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not home right now, so I can't check... dots.gif

Ok, well with that, try looking in the Control Panal and Scheduled tasks, or else try the Computer Manager.

If all else fails, search your WHOLE computer for "DISK DEFRAGMENTOR" or "DISK DEFRAG"

Start->Programs->Accesories->System tools->Defrag disk

NOTE: Don't do nothing when it is defragmenting the disk and disable the screensaver. The screensaver restarts it.
