Yes everyone, Staredit Network got it first w00t

Fixes:
-Removed spaces in the protect name/email window.
-Now it asks for overwrite in the save dialog.
-If you click YES to overwrite, it overwrites the file.
-It don't removes/changes some units when protecting.

Possible Bugs?
-Sometimes it makes the maps crash SC?
(Make sure you back up your map wink.gif)

If theres any bugs, I'm sure it'll be reported. It appeared to have worked perfectly on this computer here, I just added the mpq control file so newbs dont have trouble smile.gif

That's what we're good for! happy.gif Finding (and pointing out multiple times) simple errors that may not even be errors! ermm.gif

Yes, therefore they are not errors but something for more special, a problem!

I'll try looking for some!

Whoops, got removed when I updated the file xD

Compression:
Tried it on a copy of my map, it removed "All" Actions that were not setting players to Allies or Enemies, and removed all "Comments" on each Trigger.

Also I used two switches for my music, which both got renamed, to the name of the .wav it used, strange but true, and they kept their Actions, which is even stranger.

Yet to try protection, but lets see what happens.

So my words are, do not compress anything! Doesn't do much to it anyways, i only lost 12 KB in size.

Is this in anyway still not compatible with 256x256 maps?? Because the versions before this screwed the strings up and halved the life of every unit in my map before sad.gif...

Compression is not done. I'll disable the button in the next version.
It is made in VB, but the source is a piece of junk. I'll try to rewrite it this summer in C++, if I can learn it ;p

The bug was not with 256x256 maps, was with all maps. Check the version info:

Please note though, i tried the map afterwards, with it protected and compressed and nothing happened at all, so in fact its not the point.

Disable it then man, people will get pissed off with it!
