Sorry, I bet you guys are getting tired of these, but I really wanna show this:

And I think I did a pretty good job, but I'm kind of unsure about how I did the right (as in the direction) ends of the 1st and 2nd levels. Can anyone suggest better ways?

Oh yeah, rate please. smile.gif

Seen it 40 times before, please try something new. You could have just copied and pasted from another map, that's what it looks like. Cliffs are so boring anymore.

Looks good for a basic cliff, few blocks here and there, but yeah this has been done to death. And then dug up and killed again.

I'll try something new after this; I just did this to practice my first skills at terraining (sadly, this took days to finish). Cliffs looked like the best intro to terrain.

I just wanted feedback on the blockiness, and possibly how to improve on it.

How can something "become" worse than something? I'll make a waterfall next, it looks very simplistic.
Look at me! I can place eldfire everywhere!

make a backwards ramp going up to the high dirt, so it actually has a function ermm.gif

For it's non-blokyness i give ot a 8/10
Originality 2/10 (what do you expect?)

its good for a first try tongue.gif
the 2 sides could use a little work on since they go right into the dirt
first try rate = 6.5/10 lol

If you're having trouble finding appropriate tiles just draw some random isom and brush it.

A waterfall with some stuff at the bottom.
Edit #4: These edits aren't needed anymore.

Edit: Woops, I forgot to add hallucination deaths at the bottom of the fall.
Edit #2: Added, as well as more eldfire.
Edit #3: The hallucination mark near the bridge is just my cursor.  Please ignore it. And I know that I missed a bridge tile, and I fixed it already in my map.

start yur cliffs with isom terrain, place a nice line if high dirt on low dirt or whatever, then make the cliff top to bottom, it helps the blockiness...
