This is one of my 3d images made using blender, a free open source 3d software.

This is a image a pier that i tried to get a old time feel to it. I rendered it in blender, then post processed (put through image editor(s)) it. Im not to happy with the post process, so i might change it. here it is:

its called blender, thats it. www.blender.org has all the details. and yes, it is free. it a open source program thats amazing. Also, adding color to somthing already set up to be pale looking is challanging, and ussually unrewarding. it ussually looks better pale, but to each their own.

I think you ment does the rounded border create that old time effect? The rounded border is accually the post process, done in a image editor. they are "lights" if you will.

Yes, indeed it is wierd. its setup to be extremely fast once you have the basics down. got to blender.org, click on comunity. they should have many websites listed in several languages. http://www.elysiun.com/forum/ has great support for learning blender. I ussually just use the tutorials on blender.org. those are ussually some of the best (some).

hey master, i have a question. when your in camrea mod how do you move the camra around?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by masterchiefxl on 2005-10-20 at 18:17:47
not sure what you mean...... you mean pan around? click and hold the scroll button. to move a object after right clicking it, press "G" to grap it. 1, 3, and 7 postion your view. TAB changes modes between edit and object. "Z" changes between wire frame and solid viewing. holding shift while pressing down on the scroll button shifts your view. shift "D" dupilcates anything you have selected and oauto maticly grabs it.

When designing 2-d graphics, you use a 3D model and take a bunch of frames. The SEN-MOD team is a proposed SEN team for making Starcraft MODs.

Good luck, blender is incredibly difficult to learn because of the relative lack of a GUI.
