Note: For some old computers, this map might lag seriously because Micro Scan runs on 6 times faster than normal speed in this map. So if it lags just open up the map by SCM Draft2 and change Player 3,4,5,6,7 to human player.
But beware, if you slow down the speed of Micro Scan, the sequence of explosion will be slowed down as well.

Hey it's time to see some action!

Shoot the barrels and watch them explode. Since explosion cause other barrels be exploded, you can watch sequence of beautiful explosion. w00t.gif

Also, you can melt down some ice, too.

If you want to have your own experiment, just place barrels owned by P9 on the map. And for ice, you need to place P9 zerg beacon just under the ice.

Have some explosion! biggrin.gif

Yeah it's pretty cool. But it's really annoying the lag it creat.

Yeah. Sorry fishgold, but this explosion system isn't worth the lag.

the weapon change thingy reminds me of a map i really wanted to make, but never got around to it cause im so lazy

when you give all those barrels it kinda looks like a progress bar on the minimap

Hey Dabbu, I've almost completed my ammo system. I will post it as soon as possible. smile.gif

There wasn't any lag for me, untill you have all the units created and killed.
About switching weapons, it would be better to remove the first unit before placing the second, as I had the urge to click the button rapidly and slide down to the bottom of the map.

And what did the quake effect do?

And there would be easier ways to make barrels explode that would require no lag, and only one location. I liked watching all the barrels explode at once though. It gives me ideas for an rpg. wink.gif

Yep, that would be possible if and only if barrels are placed in straight line. And also, you must first explode the left most and bottom most barrel to start the sequence of explosion. Otherwise, nothing will explode. biggrin.gif

Eh? Not quite sure how your doing the explosions. I would have done something using burrowed units within a certain range of the marine, and if he kills the barrel, there are more burrowed units than barrels inside the location, and then it would find the barrel that was killed and explode it, killing anything else wihin a range. You would probably want to use at least 2 locations for a better effect. It would work though. Then you simply continue detecting and killing until you run out of barrels.

Actually thinking about it, there would be a problem if the line of explosions were to split off into two different directions, then only one direction would explode, until the hero got close to the other side.

Hmmm, good idea. I never thought of it before. Maybe your method is better for melting ice. rolleyes.gif

a pretty cool idea, just laggy as hell. and i couldnt get the quake thing to work but that might not be finished.
