I think that we a fourth grade or above reading level quality should be enforced for posting on all forums. This is would mean none of the "i am relly hard 2 reed becuz i dont want to put efort in2 my typng" crap. Debate.

what does the 4th grade reading level have? punctuation?
what are we already having problems with slang and a little bit of bad grammar?

only if the spell check can spell every word correctly......

Pfft, I think this shouldn't only look at proper grammar and spelling. It should also enforce the quality of the posts that people make.

Yea, I think that the content within the posts is more important than the blamty way the poster presents it.

I could say something with perfect grammar, but also be saying something completely stupid and useless that makes no sense.

I say it should be proper grammer spelling. No internet slang period. This is a forum, not a chat room.

yea..... thats just common sence. if I did that in school, then the teachers would start marking off points for mispelling and punctuation and etc.

I went to a bad school back in the elementary days.
so I didnt start learning punctuation in the 5th grade.
so it was one of those school's that you can pass easly since the teachers are lazy.

i think you should like also change the rules and regulations since people arent reading them at all.

If you look closely to the forums, most of the people that do flame and or argue or spam don't use correct punctuation.

Minus the warning thing, I agree that we should have a rule that forces an attempt to have good grammar.

One thing I dont like are elipsis longer than three dots, and many therein a post.

He doesnt mean not capitalizing and using much punctuation, he means things like
"yo dud how doz this editr wurk?!?!?/1/1/1"

Yea I have to agree with Kow on that. There are specific examples I think from the Terrain Forum.

There are also many pseudo-intellectuals who hide behind grammar and punctuation, but still flame. If you read their posts carefully though you will see they are full of blam and are meaningless.

I find idiots who are arrogant and can't admit they are wrong and try to act smart more annoying than straight out idiots who talk in caps and say stupid things with bad grammar and spelling.
